If you're going to fight a demon in the physical world, use only natural weapons (a wooden staff or sticks, your fists, etc.), nothing forged (i.e. forged blades or metal objects). If you're going to fight them in the astral, direct your anger/ wrath upon them- whatever you can imagine, you can do to them. I fight negs/demons wherever I encounter them, regardless of whether they attack me or not. They better not mess with me. I don't go around looking for them, but if I happen to come across them I attack them and tell them to get the heck out of my sight before I get Medieval on them. You can blast them with white energy too. They hate that.

Or you can go for the peaceful approach- Pray over sage, bless it, and burn it in the room, or bless it and sprinkle it in corners in the room. Also, get holy water. That helps a lot.

If you see a demon you can beat with a wooden stick dont to it! its most likely a deformed dog.

EW do you see a lot of demons standing around in the physical?  How do know how a person should beat a "Demon" thats in the physical?  I mean in the astral okay I could see doing the light thing.  That beating a demon with a stick or fists thing was disturbing to me.

Actually, I've had an encounter with a demon or neg in the physical. It was running next to me in the woods, probably trying to creep me out. I looked to see who was next to me but didn't see anything there, but I knew it was there because I could hear it running, and because of the energy it was giving off. When I swung at it with my staff it stopped following me.

This happened while I was in a notoriously haunted cemetery called Spider Gates. My friends and I had heard about it and decided to go check it out and see if any of the stories were true. let's just say I wouldn't go back there again.

Also I had holy water and a cross with me.

Even though I am an open minded individual I have to say EnderWiggin, I find that all hard to believe.

I understand. If you were there, my other friends that were with me experienced similar phenomenon (at least, that's what they claimed). I don't care if you believe me or not, but I know from what I experienced that they can physically manifest to at least some degree. Believe me, there is no reason for me to make this up. Maybe I misinterpreted the circumstances, but I doubt it. There was a stone wall next to me, but last time I checked, running next to a stone wall did not produce such a loud echo of footsteps.

btw I would also like to add that negs/demons/whatever probably don't manifest physically too often, as this was the only time I ever experienced anything like that, not to mention I've NEVER seen a ghost before or encountered one that I know of.

Postings like this Jetamac's is what makes Astral Pulse worth it. I understand the sharing of experience, but I somehow get lost in the vagaries of rationalizations and abstractions. I haven't read Robert Bruce, but Jetamac has convinced me that it's worthwhile. I can relate experience with experience, I dont need to understand, because I can serve the Mystery with no qualms. I have lots of living friends who belong to the same 'current'. Some have shown me their 'devils marks' and recounted the involved rituals to get them, they're called 'resguardos tragados', because you are made to swallow something (when my wife went through it I swear she was made to swallow some bug), and this is supposed to show later on some part of the body like a hard fleshy mole which sometimes can shift in place.

Purchased this property not yet a year ago.  The place came with a big, Victorian-revival atop a pleasant hill.  Surrounding the house is a gentle descent to a babbling brook that (lucky for me) encircles the place like a moat.  Upon stepping into the house did not detect the faintest twinge of malevolent occupation.  The only thing I can think of my recent poltergeist activity is that one of those "Negatives" piggy-backed across the creek upon a house-guest or even myself.  I was clueless until I read Robert Bruce's latest book.  Watta read!  Devoured it in less than 2 days.  It opened my eyes to myriad new thingies.  All the things of old I had read from libraries got explained by Mr. Bruce.  Like why the Witchfinder General would look for "devil's marks" upon the body of accused witches.  Devil's marks are really tissue anomalies to which "Negs" attach themselves upon the physical body.  Robert Bruce is a wonderful Brujo and I just love the way he writes.  There is a fine line indeed between a Holy man and a witch.  Priest, priestess, shaman, witchdoctor, tribal healer, Glenda the good witch, Goody Hooper, Goody Wellington, St. Joan of Arc burned at the stake for witchcraft.... ahhhhh you get the idea.  Anyway, back to my subject.  It wasn't until I finished Bruce's book and got all "in the know" about demons and their dealings in our lives that this house started doing weird things.  I exorcised a brown mole I found on my body and suddenly, after nightfall, I start hearing these rappings, tappings, thumpings and things that sound "not of this world."  Last night took the cake.  Coming from behind the wall, behind my bed's head-board was this unearthly sound.  It sounded like underwater thrashing.  Behind that wall is only the outside of the house, so it's not like it could be coming from another room.  This disheveled me a bit.  I reached for the good old "home protection" by Amadeo Rossi and put it under my pillow.  I figured if Charlie Manson was coming for me at least I'd be ready for him.  Heck, those folks at the Polanski house should have had one of these hand-cannons.  Tex Watson would have gotten the surprise of his life, aye?  Anyway, I feel this house is now under siege by unseen snigglets.  I certainly am not going to move out, not having been here yet a year.  I live alone, go figure.  But I have two very sensitive cats who go out of body with me.  So I know they are all-seeing, all-feeling little critters.  Sometimes they'll stare at the wall and hiss.  I tell ye, the time has come for some of those Practical Psychic Self Dee-fence measures.  What should I do first?  At this writing night is falling fast.
