This has been stressing me out.

Ok this all happened about 2 to 3 months ago and lasted for about two weeks. Well it started out one night with me laying in bed doing my energy work and preparing to project. Anyway I'm doing the full body circuit when I feel movement and pressure to my right like something is moving around on the bed I stop what I'm doing and and focus my attention trying to see if it was just my imagination after about I'd say a minute or so I decided it was and then decided to go bad to my energy work, right before I started however I felt the bed sinking in again to my right about six inches from my body and I had a very strong impression of someone there and that the indention was a knee. I knew that it was nothing in the physical because I had already open my eyes and taken a look so being in the meditative state I was in I willed my astral vision to come into focus and instantly it did I was looking directly at my ceiling, from this perspective I couldn't see what was next to me so I forced the perspective to change over to my right. What I seen was what looked like a man on one knee looking down at the foot of the bed. I probably spent about 20 seconds looking at him when he turned around I realized that it was me. We made eye contact and instantly the expression on his face changed from one of anxiety I'd say, to one of pure rage and hatred, he looked severely ticked at me. Instantly he hopped over and landed on top of me and proceeded to rain punches down at my face. Aparently some how the paralysis had managed to sneak up on me without me knowing, because when I tried to move I couldn't all I could do was sit there and take the punishment he was dishing out. I could feel punches landing although they didn't feel like real punches in the physical there was a feeling of force behind them and I could feel a sharp sting everytime one of them landed and a strong metallic taste in my mouth and nose. Finally I manage to twist my head over to the left, broke the paralysis my astral vision switched off and it was over. I got up moved around, felt at my face, I wasn't really injured but my face was definatly tender with a type of raw feeling, and the metalic taste was still there. At this point I opened my window turned the fan on and lit some candles and inscence. I did a cleansing ritual and prayed. After about 4 hours I decided it was safe to attempt sleep, of course I was wrong because as soon as I would become relaxed my astral vision would kick in with the paralysis and he would continue to attack me. Anyway like I said this continued for about two weeks I was suffering from a major lack of sleep and my rope was at it's end I had tried everything I could think of to do I had finally decided that I wasn't going to let this thing run my life. I laid down in bed with the intent to project and start dishing out some punishment of my own, I prepared myself by doing some protective rituals and visualizations but when I got out it wasn't there nor have I come into contact with it since. Anyway I was just doing some surfing and came across some case histories about doppelgangers in which almost every one I've read where people see their own end up with their death in the near future. Anyway I've just got a bad vibe about this and any ideas you guys have on this would be appreciated.
