three questions about ghosts & spirits

1.I watched two movies that were called the legend of hell house and ghost busters and in those two movies they stopped the ghosts from haunting people by either making a machine that could suck them up or by making a machine that neutralised their spirit bodies by neutralizing all of the electromagnetic energy in a given area because in the movie ghosts bodies are suppose to be made out of electromagnetic energy and it was suppose to drain their bodies and the area they were haunting and in turn make all of their ghost powers useless.Could this happen in real life?
2.Is it possible to merge your spirit with someone else's while out of body?And is it possible that while out of body that your spirit could get partially or completely absorbed by another spirit or projector?
3.What is the difference between spirit possession,obsession,and attachment?
