If there are battles here, I don't see why there wouldn't be there, as long as there are people in disagreement. Perhaps real-world wars leak over there, through people who relive the fighting in their dreams unconsciously, or people who consciously use their powers to carry a battle to the astral which they may not be able to win in the physical.

The concept seems rather exciting, think of all the flashy transformation attacks and speed you could pull off there!

Of course, I don't know what the fight would be over, other than fighting an enemy who is harming your interests. They don't have much land or resources to conquer do they? If so, it must be people, or the exclusive rights to protect/drain them that is being fought over.

yes, astral fights and wars exist. Try going to the lower astral levels (and I mean the REAL lower astral levels, not the lower astral plane.) These levels are usually made up of planes created by specific deiteies and are, in a sense, various forms of hells. Astral wars go on all the time there.

By the way, that Stuart Wilde guy someone here recommended, he advocates the use of magic mushrooms. Just thought I'd let you know... because I think that takes away any credibility to any claims, since they could possibly be the result of hallucinations and dreams he think are real. I'm sure phasing through walls in astral or hallucination is much easier than in reality.
