What does a psychic really know?

...this has been on my mind for some time now
one of my best friends have a couple days ago told me some really disturbing news...She started off by telling me some of my most personal thoughts, and i know as a fact i didnt tell anybody...so i started to question her, like "how do you know that?" she told me she was psychic, and she was telling me alot of things that actually freaked me out -.-
            So i was woundering to myself....how much do psychics really know about others? how was it so accurate? If there are any out there how exactly do you get such information, like can she do it with me because were such good friends?? so basically they know my whole life story...?

Some people totally baffle me with that stuff, and it annoys the hell out of me because they never reveal their methods.

I've been learning more about the mind, and I'm becoming telepathic to the point that I can receive messages just by going into a calm state for a moment (not even meditating). It turns out, we can hear things with our minds the same way we hear with our ears, and it can be plain as day. But, as a culture, we've learned to ignore it and pay attention only to seeing and hearing, to the point that our mind's senses have been dumbed and made indistinguishable from imagination. Now the signals only register on a subconscious level.

It's like how we ignore our sense of smell most of the time, but more extreme than that. The smells still give us feelings, but it takes an extra moment to realize it's our nose creating that feeling.

I imagine, the person you met has spent her life listening to these signals (as she seems unaware of how she does it), so it's natural for her. Whereas I had to learn the ability from scratch and still don't have it down very well

I think zareste is probably right here.  Wasn't there some underplayed news story about a tribe in Africa that has had no real modern contact and has no form of verbal communication, they rely solely on telepathy? 

I think a lot of these things like levitation, PK, TK, and telepathy are things that we know how to do naturally...  We just have forgotten how to use them over time so those parts of our minds have become so weak it's necessary for one to be either "gifted" or someone to really want it and practice for it to achieve it.

Hi,
Because she is your friend it is easier for her to feel and get insight with you. She sounds quite clear, for want of a better word.

The methods used are Feel and Insight. Information comes in many ways, and someone who is being clear will obtain information from all avenues. It is hard to explain how it works. Before a client arrives I ask what is it I need to know, and I am given/access the basic reason why they are coming. Once they enter the room I get a feeling, it is laden with information that I can access by "looking into it", within me. The feeling is from our auras overlapping. The feeling can contain "movies" of past, present and future possibilities that are relevant to the person. Information also comes in telepathically from our Helpers, sometimes visually also. I find viewing what the chakras are doing gives insight into the deeper issues in the person's life, although I only do that to speed things up a bit. At times I "go in", with permission, to see what is being held onto in the chakras.. they appear as little 3D pictures to me. Other times, you can just know without needing to find a source. Over the years I've found people can't hide a thing from you if you are being clear, with no concepts about what you are doing.

It seems this girl could learn how to switch it off when she wants to. She will find life a little easier by turning it on and off as required, so she will not be inundated by information.
