Honestly, you don't ever have to "focus" on one specific point.

Work on spiritual growth instead. It'll effect you on many levels instead.

It could be dangerous to only concentrate on one chakra, or only the upper chakras because you would lose 'grounding' then.

Robert Bruce recommends energy work and spiritual development of all 7 main chakras alike to be on the safe side.

There's no audio in existence that will help you grow spiritually.

Actually, there's nothing that physically exists that will help you grow spiritually.

Deciding to become a better person through your interactions with others is the only way to grow spiritually.

Yoga is the fastest path to spiritual development. It is a proven method that has been pass down from generation to generation.. There are many types of yoga depending on what kind of person you are, there is jnana yoga, Hatha yoga, karma yoga and Bhakti yoga.. Etc.. I am emotional person type so Bhakti yoga fits well for me or also known as the yoga of devotion..

Well, honestly... and this is an entirely personal opinion... I don't suggest "developing your chakras".

I think it's a complete waste of time. There are much better ways to improve your life, grow spiritually and have projections.

It not the "yoga" itself that causes the spiritual growth. It's how you do it and how you apply what you learn towards bettering yourself and others around you.

My point is this...
I could "run on the spot" and claim it was the fastest path to spiritual development, but that's about as true as yoga being the fastest path to spiritual development.
Nothing in this physical reality can cause spiritual growth within you. Spiritual growth is a choice you make through your interactions with other people/beings/consciousnesses.
One can do "yoga", for instance, and turn out to be the most evil individual in the world.

How to interact with other people is part of yoga.. Everything in human life is discussed in yoga... Most westerners think of yoga as physical exercises and sitting like a pretzel... But those are just a scratch lol

indeed, many in the West seem to have no respect of these very old traditions and cultures who have found out metaphysical 'realities' regarding meditation, state of being, enlightenment, energy work, kundalini, chakras, medians nadis, the nature of reality.... and this even eons ago, often really independently of one another, just compare old Chinese with old Indian teachings, as far as I know energy centres / chakras have been known and also clairvoyantly witnessed all over the world in ancient times

I think that there is some difference in 'spiritual development' and 'energy development'. I think both are sides to one coin, and when one comes from the other, wonderful things can happen.
Spiritual development has to do with how you see yourself in the universe- what part you play in it. When you develop (or rather, discover) the oneness you're a part of, the things that are called spiritual become attractive to you- when you see divinity all around and in you, then it comes apparent that there is more to 'this' than what is apparent.
Energy work (and the ensuing chakra development) is a way to perceive the energy underlying everything- because when you can feel it, you know it's there and at some point you'll figure out why it's there and what it means to you.
Energy disciplines such as Yoga, Taichi and NEW (aka Tactile awareness, explained in the book quoted above) are disciplines that make you experience what some talk about, and are a good part of your spiritual awareness development.
When you say you want to develop your third eye, I understand it as wanting to be able to perceive that which is nonphysical. Is this true?
If so, all the disciplines quoted above will help in the energy department, and it is true that the whole energy body should be worked, concentrating solely on the third eye can cause unwanted side effects.
As a precursor to the book (Energy Work) I would suggest taking a look at the NEW section in Robert's site, as it gives a generalized and introductory approach to the system, before you get into the more advanced techniques in the book.

Don't worry about "developing" your third eye. You already HAVE a third eye, it's just a matter of opening it. The best way to open it is to send energy to it. And once you have enough energy to open it, you will be able to open it just like you do your other two eyes.
