Manifesting while suffering depression

Hi,
Ive been suffering from depression for many years now and ive been trying to snap out of it so to speak.
Every time i proper really have a go at manifesting something into my life which would be a help me the opposite seems to happen.
I'm really trying to block negative thoughts from entering my head but they just seem to happen out of the blue and i cant help it.
Anyone got any ideas what could help me.
I really do need some input on this matter, im making things worse.

Try candle magick.  Just etch the words that describe what you want into the side of a candle with a pin while it is in your head, and stop immediately when any thoughts contrary to it get into your head.  It may take days before you finish the candle, but that seems faster than what you have experienced so far.  When you have the words on the candle, burn it with a clear mind, and then just let your mind wander while it burns down.  Once the candle is well charged, and then lit, your thoughts are pretty much inconsequential.

Use a 'password' to communicate to yourself. Say something such as 'please, listen to me now' before you speak your true feelings during a prayer or just while thinking. Anything that you say without using the 'password' would be considered just a sketch, you haven't 'logged on' to the source, this way, anything that is undesirable should pass without being taken too seriously.

Be sure to say your password only when you really need it, you can know you're being heard. Give thanks after asking for something, as you are already receiving it.

sounds like you just need to develop your ability to focus/concentrate, try meditating by staring at a circle on a piece of paper or something.

all these negative thoughts i take it are from the self you dont want to associate yourself with but have to anyway coz its you lol... yeah, by strenghening your concentration you'll quicker be able to tame this runaway mind we all can have.
split your awareness between your heart and head.

Blocking negative thoughts/emotions isn't the solution, IMO.  The more you try to block them, hide them away, not face them, the more they build up and force you to deal with them.  If you won't express them in one way, they'll come out in some other form, usually a sinister one.  (That is why some perfectly normal people become abusive; they don't deal with their issues, and those issues find another way of expressing.)  You might find solace in talking to someone or writing about the things that are troubling you.  Express it, get it out.  As you deal with the problems and heal, you will find that the negative thoughts intrude on you less and less often.

I have been dealing with my issues while out of body.  Shortly after initiating an OBE, I tell my higher mind and waking conscious mind to let go of any negative situations, any fears, any worries, and any negative emotions associated with a specific person, place, or thing.  You might want to simply tell your higher mind and waking conscious mind to let go of the situation, place, person, or thing that is causing your depression.  Tell your soul to let go of it.  If you don't know what's causing your depression, try telling your soul to let go of the root cause of your depression and sadness.  Also, address your spiritual guides and teachers.  Before you go to sleep, call out to your guides in your mind, and ask them for "guidance" to permanently get rid of the depression you feel.  After attending a spirituality seminar recently, an ordained minister told everyone to do this.  The key is to ask for "guidance".  The depression may disappear on its own, you may get an answer of how to get rid of it in a dream or OBE, or through intuition, etc.  I believe that our negative emotions, fears, and worries are all caused by some negative past situation in our lives.  Once you get rid of the root cause of the problem, the negative emotions should go away.  I've been doing this, and I am happy now.  I was sad and depressed before too.  Asking for guidance really works too.  If you ask, you'll be helped as long as whatever you ask guidance for doesn't interfere with your Karma, destiny, etc.  Try starting out with asking your guides for guidance.  Approach it like a prayer.
