Cha-ching$ LOL! I love that last sentence. I've been reading your posts in this forum. They are of much help. They make me realize just how difficult being a Christian is. It is difficult to suppress my ego, but I keep trying. Is He saying "There is no 'I' in 'team?'" That's what I am seeing. We have all become so individualized. The Bible says something about casting out "all imaginations." What did it mean by that? I don't think it's refering to art or music, but I think it is saying to be discreet about using them. I was curious about incubus and succubi because I have never heard of them before, so I researched them and came to that site. I learned what kinds of demons they were and how they attack us. Is there a website that lists all the different types of demons and how powerful they are? I just want to be aware of them so I can identify them if I should ever need to and find out what to do about them.

Ender,

Here is the framework for understanding the I/ego that I referred to in another post...

We are comprised of a physical body; etheric body; astral body; and I/ego.  These bodies have all undergone changes over each epoch.  This is referred to as the (spiritual) evolution of mankind.  Your astral body AND I/ego actually leave your physical and etheric bodies every night when you go to sleep, however, most of us are unconscious of this.  (Notice the term "unconscious"; It's all about different states of consciousness!)  One of the stages of inner developent is to abe able to do this consciously (i.e. astral travel).  Then you can validate for yourself!

The ego/I is being developed in this particular epoch.  ("I" can only be used to refer to one person- that's it!)  The righteousness that was imputed to us has been taken away so that we may choose of our own from will.  We are the only beings on the planet whom this can be said for!  Every plant and animal respond to nature on its terms (e.g. the flowers bloom at a certain time; the animals mate at a certain time).  The human "I" possesses free will and can choose.  The hope is that we will choose that which is righteous.  However, to accomplish this we MUST be "wise as the serpent."  Ergo, we must pursue spiritual knowledge and transform it into wisdom.  Note: freedom is a required ingredient for LOVE; that's why we are given the freedom to choose- so that we may know love.

Jesus of Nazareth worked on His inner development as an Essene since age 12.  He was the world's greatest initiate!  He was able to supress His ego in order to accomodate the Christ.  (This was necessary for the union)  Inner development requires patience.  Wisdom will provide one with the tools to succeed.  Persue knowledge/wisdom and be patient.  It is perfectly correct to be an individual, however, we should be conscious of how we effect other individuals...simple as that!

Meditation is essential.  Most people don't realize that prayer is a form of meditation.  Learn to meditate properly.

Most religions tell people that they don't have to do anything- Jesus did it ALL for them.  This is a LIE in the physical sense, which is how it is usually sent forth!  Whether or not it is used in order to deceive or out of ignorance is your call.  The TRUTH is: without the death of Christ enabling His being to be made part of the world, inner development would be impossible! (the reasons are profound) If all we had to do was "ask Jesus in our heart," He would have simply plugged that slogan- right?  Why put it in a parable?  One has to THINK about the parable (i.e. inner development).

Don't concern yourself with demons- just the positive!  Positive thoughts will encourage inner develpment- NOT groping about demons!  Effectively, one is concentrating on the demon giving it its due (i.e. attention; fear).  Have no fear!  A mind focussed on peace and love is the most powerful force in the universe.  Be that mind; be love.

Pertaining to the "no team in I" question...is referring to overcoming desires!  When we lust for things outside of ourselves, those things effectively control us.  Everything any one of us could possibly want and hope for is INSIDE- inner development will validate this for one who chooses this path.

I can only guess about the context of imaginations, so here goes...if one's immagination runs wild (i.e. crazy acting stuff; horror flics, etc...) one will only have to deal with this on another level and won't like the results.  For example, if one projects into the astral with a databse load of horrific concepts and ideas, guess what will be coming at you?  That's right- the same stuff (karma back at ya!).

Instead of trying to be a Christian, be like Christ.

The Christian initiation (i.e. John's Revelation) is accomplished in steps (i.e. the 7 seals) which are not usually accomplished in a single lifetime...I'll try to get some information posted on this.

Be wise; have no fear; enjoy life!  You are already doing the right thing by asking questions, etc...  You must go to the Spiritual world; it won't come to you!  Isn't that what you're doing on this site?  Kudos!  I wish you great success and would be happy to give you what I have.

Adrian

Greetings DjM,

Thanks once again for a wonderful post! It just goes once again to demonstrate how the true Spiritual message that Master Jesus incarnated to deliver has been completely misinterpreted in material terms by the creed and dogma of the church over the millenia.

The passage from the Gospel of St. John quoted above contains profound wisdom which is alas lost on most people in the world at large. This situation must and will turn about - the true message, not only of Master Jesus but of all great Masters must be realised.

Enderwiggin: "incubus" and sucubus" are "demons of the mind" - specifically a class of being known as "schemata" which are similar to elementals and elementaries. They are unkowingly created by, and  feed off sexual desires and the energy created by such desires.

That is not to say that demons do not exist - they certainly do. Demons are the opposite to Angels, and are equally as powerful in their own dark spheres as Angels are in the spheres of light. Demons have ranks such as "count", baron" and so on and are very powerful.

With best regards,

Adrian.

Ah, thank you for clearing that up. I always lived my life as if I only had one. So basically, we have a certain amount of time to develop (until the appocolypse). What confuses me is the population of the time of Jesus and the population of today. There are over 6 billion people in the world today, and there were not that many during the time of Jesus, am I correct? So when the 2/3 of us who wanted spiritual advancement were sent to earth- well, basically what I am asking is, are we still being sent down? Maybe this is an irrelevant question. I was just wondering, I guess it's not really that important. Like you said, what is important is spiritual development. I can't remember what all seven seals are. I can't even remember what one of them was. But when I find out I might be able to see where I am spiritually. I suspect I am just beginning. Why doesn't the devil create his own universe and leave us alone? Lucifer was an idiot. Am I correct in understanding that someday Archangel St. Michael will go down to hell to destroy him? Or was that just something someone told me out of misinterpretation? How long is the battle between good and evil? I know that good will prevail in the end. It always does. The devil is not the god of darkness, because he is not a god at all. Therefore he is not as powerful as God. It's like playing a game of chess and the opponent does not have a queen to start out with in the first place. Though the opponent may be quite skilled, he is not as skilled as who he has challenged. God had no beginning; he always existed. Nor does he have an end. How does God see the devil? How does God feel about the devil? Is he angry or does he simply not pay him any mind? I need to get myself a bible and talk to someone who will understand. I do not like going to churches because they repeat the same things over and over most of the time. But the right priest or priestess might be able to help me to keep in the right direction.

No Spirit is "sent" anywhere. Each of us is endowed with the degree of freewill that enables us to make our own decisions as to our own immediate destiny. People incarnate out of choice, usually to equilibrate karma accumulated from past lives, or to learn knew lessons fundamental to their ongoing ascent. Accordingly, humans choose the circumstances of the next incarnation where they can stand the best chance of achieving necessary objectives. There are exceptions, great Masters sometimes incarnate to teach the world about Spiritual realities in an effort to turn mankind away from its present materialistic course.

Spirit has always existed, and always will exist. Yes, the population is increasing, but "new Souls" are incarnating from the source of the Great Spirit (God) and who are just beginning their long ascent. From the moment of conception into the first incarnation, a Spirit becomes "individuated" and remains so for eternity until such time as it reunites with God.

There is no "hell" and accordingly there is no "lucifer". Hell is analogous to the lowest levels of the Astral world where people who are particularly bad in one way or the other find themselves after physical death - it is the Law. Murdererers, after physical death, will find themselves in a low part of the Astral inhabited by other murderers, because like attracts like, and their low vibrations keep them there. Inhabitants of such a place will spend a very long time (as measured in Earth years) trying to kill each other, until they eventually realise the darkness of their actions, and then they can either progress to higher levels of the Astral or reincarnate for another go at getting it right and paying for the bad deeds of their previous incarnation.

The Archangels will destroy no one - they are Exalted beings of the Light and for Divine Providence (God) and they only act in the interests of Love and for the human race.

Demons do exist, and have ranks such as "count", "baron" etc, and are the opposite of Angels. Demons are necessary because the Universe requires balance - dark and light, good and evil etc..  Demons were created by Divine Providence (God), who, being perfection, did not create anything imperfect.

For as long as it takes [:)] Evil/darkness exists in order that man can exercise his/her own freewill to choose the good/light. All paths lead back to the Light, God, but there is the left hand path via the dark side and the righthand path directly to the light side. Even the most evil person will, after aeons, arrive on the path of good.

Well, as I have already said, the "devil" does not exist. And God does not have human emotions either [:)] God is Spirit and the entire Universe is Spirit because it was created out of Himself, and everything in the Universe works in strict accordance with the immutable laws of cause and effect, always in total unfailing precision. Effect always follows cause in the same degree. Nothing exists outside of the Law.

One of the greatest mistakes of humanity including religion, is to ascribe petty human characteristics to God, who is perfection.

With best regards,

Adrian.

Hi Adrian-

Sorry I misled you on my last post in this topic. The wording of my sentences caused me to miscommunicate what I was thinking, but nevertheless, you have answered my questions. Thank you. En Taro Adun! Oh wait, that's from Starcraft. I mean, break forth o beautious heavenly light, and usher in the morning. No, that's not it either, that's a Bach corale. hmm... oh well, you get the idea. [insert religious quote in the Latin language here].

Great stuff!  I have read a lot of this already...but it never fails to excite me.

Fragments from The Essene Gospel Of John

And Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven.

And one man said, How can a man be born when he is old?  Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

And Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of an Earthly Mother and a Heavenly Father, and walk with the Angels of the Day and the Night, he cannot enter into the Eternal Kingdom.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  And the flesh of thy body is born of the Earthly Mother, and the spirit within thee is born out of the Heavenly Father.  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and though hearest the sound therof, but canst not tell whence it cometh.  So it is with the Holy Law.  All men hear it, but know it not, for from their first breath it is with them.  But he who is born again of the Heavenly Father and the Earthly Mother, he shall hear with new ears, and see with new eyes, and the flame of the Holy Law shall be kindled within them.

And one man asked, How can these things be?

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  For man is born to walk with the Angels, but instead ho doth search for jewels in the mud.  To him hath the Heavenly Father bestowed his inheritance, that he should build the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, but man has turned his back on his Heavenly Father, and doth worship idols.  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men love darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light.  For we are all Sons of God, and in us God is glorified.  And the light which shineth around God and his children is the Light of the Holy Law.  And he who hateth the light, doth deny his Father and his Mother, who have given him birth.

And one man asked, Master, how can we know the light?

And Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I give unto thee a new commandment: that ye love one another, even as they love thee who work together in the Garden of Brotherhood.  By this shall all men know that ye too are brothers, even as we all are Sons of God.

And one man said, All they talk is of the brotherhood, yet we cannot all be of the brotherhood.  Yet we would worship light and shun darkness, for none there is among us who desireth evil.

And Jesus answered, Let not thy heart be troubled: ye believe in God.  Know ye that in our Father's house are many mansions, and our brotherhood is but a dark glass reflecting the Heavenly Brotherhood unto which all creatures of Heaven and Earth do belong.  The brotherhood is the vine, and our Heavenly Father is the husbandman.  Every branch in us that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.  Abide in us, and we in thee.  As the branch can not bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in the Holy Law, which is the rock upon which our brotherhood stands.  He that abideth in the Law, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without the Law ye can do nothing.  If a man abide not in the Law, he is cast forth as a branch, and is witherd; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

And as the brothers abide in the love for one another as the Angel of Love doth teach them, so we do ask that ya love one another.  Greater love hath no man than this, to teach the Holy Law to one another, and to love each other as oneself.  The Heavenly Father is in us, and we are in him, and we do reach out our hands in love and ask that ye be one in us.  The glory which he gavest us we do to thee: that thou mayest be one, even as we are one.  For thy Father in Heaven hath loved thee before the foundation of the world.

And in this manner did the Brothers teach the Holy Law to them who would hear it, and it is said that they did marvelous things, and healed the sick and afflicted grasses and wondrous uses of sun and water.  And there are also many other things they did, the which, if they should be written every one, even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.  Amen.

// ---------------------------------------------------

Commentary:

1) When Jesus makes reference to Father and Mother, he is refereeing to this cosmic relationship of which we are all a part.  Many people confuse this with their parents.
2) Being born again is not repeating a phrase ("Ask Jesus into your heart"; POOF- you're saved) like some religions profess.  If that were the case, we'd all be saved, so to speak.  It involves approaching the Spiritual World and developing the facilities that lie dormant within you.  In fact, Robert Bruce's book, Astral Dynamics is an outstanding resource (Thanks, Robert!).   The NEW eyes and NEW ears are the facilities that one regains through inner development.  What do you think Jesus of Nazareth was doing since age 12 when he was studying with the Essenes?  He was preparing his vessel for the Christ to dwell within Him (i.e. suppress the I/ego) so that He could use His death to bring the Mysteries which were being kept from mankind to light!  If one chooses to become a follower, one will follow the path that HE set- NOT religion!!  How can one become a follower if one chooses ignorance and ritual instead of inner development and a constant striving for wisdom?
3) John 21:25: And there were also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.  Amen.  This might be more important than what is actually presented!  More precisely, the Bible itself does not contain all of the information that it possibly could.  Ergo, other information does exist and it is valid...enter the Gospel of the Essenes.  Those who have an ear recognize where these Truths come from.  Those who suppose that religion is greater than Truth will vehemently deny all that they cannot shoehorn into their constricting views...cha-ching$
