We here can send you Reiki and sll sorts of other healing modalities but the source of the healing that needs to take place is in your mind. All healing that needs to take place is really in the mind for that is what we are. Our physical bodies are only the manifestations of what or who we tell our minds we are. My advice would be to seek a group in your area like AA or something like that. It is really group lay counseling and it works on the addictions. We are all healers and it is best to get the help you need from people who have been in your shoes. Caffeine and Alcohol are 2 opposite ends of the same spectrum... You drink caffeine to wake up then after drinking so much caffeine during the day, you need the depressent of alcohol to help you get to sleep. it's a viscious cycle.
If you feel you would not like to join one of these groups, I would suggest working on the caffeine part first, and work on the alcohol later. I could send you Reiki, however, it is only a tool to help you help yourself... as are all healing modalities.

thank you, ladies. I'm not sure what Reiki is. Is it like a prayer? I agree, i need to start with caffeine, but MY GOD the mornings gnaw at my eyelids...
my problem is overindulgence. One glass of wine turns into three, one cup of coffee into a pot. But i see what you mean lola. Caffeine IS the lesser of two evils, and these damn evils have been flubbing me up subtly on and off for a while.
The hardest part is social situations when everyone else is doing it. What about then? Practice moderation?
Don't drink to get drunk. That's right. Treating it like the plague would be...hard. A lot of people can do that though, and i know i've sworn it off before in my earlier days. Didn't last.

Well, i have addiction problems, mostly caffeine and alcohol. They're pretty strong, or i've just fed them for so long they've gotten fat and well attached. I've tried to shake it, and can for a time in small ways, but they come back.
So, i think i should ask for help from people i believe can help me, and i think my own desire to helped can complete the circuit of energy, otherwise it gets wasted.
I've been reading about Atlantean healing processes and i WISH WISH WISH our world could discover the benefits of electromagnetism again and the polarity of the organs. It is all so fascinating...

Have you tried to seek for a "professional" help from some Alcohol Addiction Recovery Place? Or some counselor/therapist?
