it's kinda depressing but it was used back in the days where it was asepted by who ever was in this religion.
If anyone has read a few parts of the story I like to know what you think on the following.

1:Could the garden of Eden be some type of prision where you can never see dark only light?

2:What do you think of the 5 and a half day promise made to Adam?

When I think about the second one and how people say the earth is 6,000 years old i then started to do alittle maths. The bible god made the earth in 7th day and rested so that would take 7,000 years to put the earth together. After Adam got kicked out he promised him that Adam can come back in 5 days and a half which is 5,500 years so with alittle maths the total years would be 12,500 years. I'm also starting to wonder if this has anything to do with the 2012 thing.

Edited:
just done more maths and if this was to be true, the date  the "curse" would end would be in 2013 may 24th. That's 12,500 years
Firmly understand that there is no joy or sorrow in this world. If you believe worldly objects are a source of happiness, in their absence you will feel sorrow. Accept the fact that there is no true happiness in the world.

Well not really, have a look at what eden implies, in the dictionary eden implies a blissful state of existence; any delightful region or abode, a paradise. Also remember that adam and eve fell into the wilderness. You can say that the the wilderness represents the dimension below eden which is this physical dimension, and you could also say that psychologically we fell out of the blissful state of eden and into the wilderness which is psychological suffering.

One interpretation that I dig:

"Eden" was before man was endowed with an ego. He was more animal-like without self-awareness, and when we "ate from the Tree of Knowledge" we became self-aware and developed feelings and emotions linked with ego, locking us into a material existence with it's desires and suffering. We were "kicked out of Eden".
