Nevermind

Okay, a friend of mine I met not long ago says he used to be a wiccan. He's told me stories about levitating people and such, and given me a sort of background. One night, we went for a walk late at night when we were both sleeping over a friend's house. It was then that he told me that he could sense spirits, he called it a sort of "side effect" of being involved in wicca. We then proceeded along the walk, and this was really late, early morning-ish. He pointed out all sorts of things to me, and one time, on the way by a graveyard, he said he saw a demon, jumped five feet and scared the hell out of me, too.
I want to know, is this perception common in veteran wiccans, or is this kid taking me for a ride?

That's the thing about psychic charlatans - it's nearly impossible to disprove them. It's possible he's legit, but unless you experience it too, it's hard to tell.

I say go with your gut instinct.

I call charlatan. People that are truley spiritual will not try to impress others. Infact they are more than likely to only talk to others like them or to help a friend in need but never to impress another. FAKE!
"the lower, earthly human being and the upper, mystical human being, in which the Godhead is manifested as shape, belong together and are unthinkable without one another."

Well I would be cynical and say he is lying.

But then again why does it matter?

Unless you can see it too it doesnt really matter what he claims he sees.
