Quote from: magicmac2000Ryu-Kanjin: thanks for your nice reply :) I'm on that path ... but just to kill my curiosity, can u tell me what you found ?

1) Is there a God at all for you ?
2) Is there an afterlife for you ?
3) Why is it so difficult to "be a better man" ?

Shoot! Every day I try to carve myself but I catch me being again the same damn way :(

Thanks a lot,
Magic.

That is a long and very hard thing to explain lol basicly its the way I see the world around me   I could give it a try, just ask questions and I can answer them for you just remember, these are what I have observed.

1)I hung on to the belief of a god for a long time, even when what I was observing said there wasn't.

2)Yes, but not in the sense of heaven or hell, more along the lines of the astral planes, just slightly different.

3)I didn't nessisarly say better lol just very happy and peacfull. To put it simply, I'm not lost anymore. You would be surprised how much that eats away at someone.

I have no trouble answering your questions, go into detail if you wan't. Seeing other people so curious brings joy to my mind
Dont look at the world around you with your eyes, use your soul, and you will see more then you have ever imagined.

Hey magicmac2000 no disrespect and all but why do you need a religion.  My theory about this whole thing is that basically Religon preaches about this and that and that and this... and is basically all about treating each other with love and respect.

Well if you do that on a daily basis and AP too then you know most than most priests do about whats really out there.

Nightwolf: I didn't say I was trying to keep my religion    ... The main point was about believing/not believing in God. I don't feel I have a religion right now, but I still have doubts about the existence of God.

Thanks,
Magic.

okay, umm, try this site here  www.drdino.com  Its by a Christian site, that trys to prove evolution wrong.  Watch out though, the guy, Dr. Hovind, is pretty convincing and he has some pretty good videos.  So if you are seriously searching for some answers take some time and watch all or a few of his videos.

QuoteGod is much too vast to be constrained into just one book.

that made my day :)

i agree with Ryu-Kanjin

one should walk ones path by yourself. i think that's one of the reasons we are on the earth not to go via a rulebook made by man but to find the truth for ourselves - Think, Ask and Do.

You don't need someone to talk for you to a deity or and guides, as the message is intended for you and could be misinterpreted by that person.

for me, you can do want you want as-long as you don't harm anyone including yourself. I'm at the moment also walking and finding myself. Heck Exploration is awesome. just think how boring life would have been if you could only follow some bible in what you must do blindly without every having to ask a question or think for once in your life for yourself !

at the core all religions teaches anyways more or less the same thing all-though their deity system differs or way of teaching.

heaven and hell - not true, there surly is something after death. not a condemning but a further progress of your learning path or and evolution.

magicmac2000 - it is really good that you are wondering why. trust me, but know to trust and believe in yourself

Blessings,
Ryu

Ryuji if you knew everything then you could say that there is no heaven or hell.  since you dont know everything there is still reasonable doubt that Heaven, Hell, God, the Devil, etc. exist.

Ryuji

Thank goodness i don't know everything.  Just think for moment if we all are born with total knowledge and perfection. life would have no meaning at all there wouldn't be need for life then anyways.

If someone have different views its better not to be nasty towards them and except them as they are. It is good practice to try and help someone who wants to be helped and not force a certain dogma onto them.

we are all here to life live not be entrapped.

Peace and love,
Ryu
