Old testement: book of prophecys hidden in storys

Iv been thinking latly on why the new testement took things out of context from the old testement and what I think is going on is that they are showing that history is repeating itself. And if that's the reason why they did that then maby the hole books in the old testement is nothing but prophecys hidden in fiction storys. For sample: the tower of babel is a fufiled prophecy for the twin towers. The falling angels will be ufo's or beings comming from the sky to live on earth etc if this is how the writers of the new testement new how the old testement works then we have missed something very importent about the bible and it's hidden messages.
Someone found an intresting chapter and thinks it could relate to Jesus and his 12 desiples and this is in the old testement
