Title: Love
Post by: NoY on June 11, 2010, 12:14:19
I have crawled to the edge
and stared into the abiss
the cold black void
the death like bliss
as i stare on someone stares back
a tall masked figure caped in black
with a deadly grin he calls my name
and from that moment on
nothing is the same
i lose my mind and find confusion
its gone i mean with no illusion
i lost my soul but found my heart
its not that big but its a start
i ask for love but receive agression
the tall black thing banks on my concession
and so it atacks right were it hurts the most
you cant escape when your the host
blow after blow the war has begun
when you need help there is only one
the father of all things good
will i ask for help?
i think i should

I think this is a great piece of writing; it had a significant effect on me. I think this section is brilliant:

and so it atacks right were it hurts the most
you cant escape when your the host

The poem tells such a disturbing and horrifying story, which had me enticed from the first line.

An excellent and chilling write that was thoroughly enjoyed, thanks for sharing.

I died as a mineral and became a plant,
I died as plant and rose to animal,
I died as animal and I was Man.
Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?
Yet once more I shall die as Man, to soar
With angels blest; but even from angelhood
I must pass on: all except God doth perish.
When I have sacrificed my angel-soul,
I shall become what no mind e'er conceived.
Oh, let me not exist! for Non-existence
Proclaims in organ tones, To Him we shall return.
