The world became just that much less funny yesterday... :/

I hope he finds the peace in that focus which he couldn't find here.

It also goes to show you that you money does not buy you happiness.

Robin will be missed here on Earth.
Money can't buy you love, that's a definate.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

The world is slowly becoming a darker place.

Maybe he doesn't fit in here anymore.

Its hard to know what must of been going on with him to make him take his own life . The pic.s IMDb posted on him , and our discussion on bad caps .

He did what he came here to do and that was too share himself with the World.

This year he played a part in 4 movies, that are still yet to be released. Quite a final act, if you ask me.

Suicide is for the living, not the dead. He made HIS choice, pure and simple and it was his to make.

RIP Robin! We will miss you!  :-(

Thanks for making us laugh!  :-)

I was thinking of him in the movie what dreams may come .  It dealt with  reincarnation . I dont know it he ever stated his personal beliefs . I think he will entertain them on the astral plane for a while then come back as human .

It actually dealt with life after death and, coincidentally, suicide.
I don't agree with it's view on suicide... but the concept they shared in regards to how the after life is, was pretty credible.
I won't say "accurate"... but it was a good starting point.  :)

I have never been so upset about a  celebrity passing, I remember coming home from school and watching mork and mindy, I was a huge fan from then on, loved his humor,

Some have called him a coward for taking his own life,
I say he was fearless , he done all he could he gave all he could , in the end he did what he had to do I'm sad he is gone, but happy he is free,
thanks for the laughs  :-D

QuoteSome have called him a coward for taking his own life,

There are statements that he was likely on prescription "selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor" (SSRI drugs). Those types of substances can trigger some radically impulsive episodes in people, and are often noted for causing depressed, non-suicidal people to convert into depressed, suicidal people. When you take a catalogue of all the recent mass-shooters and suicides, a startling percentage have SSRI's somewhere in the mix. Not saying he bore no-responsibility, but those substances can really throw a person a nasty curveball more often than not.

(Note, this is not medical advice to anyone, just my feeling on that class of drugs).

I'm sure his  medication  played a part in it , but you throw in all the alimony he had to pay to his ex wives, or ( all my money)  as he used to say,
his battle with addiction and depression and to top it off he was in early stages of parkinsons , I understand  he probably went screw it!! I'm outta here.

I think he should have gone "back to rehab in wine country to keep his options open"
