Hi Lasher,

There are certainly a lot of nice things to see as you drive across country. I've made the coast to coast trip about a half dozen times, but the last time was about thirty years ago (I'm originally from Philadelphia).

Now that you're nestled in the California Redwoods perhaps you'll be having a good deal more of the experiences you mentioned. Things most likely will get more exciting still. Looking forward to your full return to the forum.

Very best,

Would there be a chance that you'd see bigfoot?

That is an interesting story.  I have only ever had one sleep paralysis episode but was unable to do anything with.  Mostly because at the time I didn't know what it was and I was a little freaked to wake up and find myself in that state.  This due to the dream I had.  But any how.

California.  Cool.  I actually plan on moving to San Diego in a couple of weeks.  Just as soon as I get some money I have been waiting for.

The only bigfoot I saw was my own.  My wife bought me a nice pair of cowboy boots at Wall Drug.  They feel great when they are on.  But I seem to be unable to remove them without assistance.  I'm hoping that a return to hatha yoga will help to remedy the situation.

Hi Nick!  Thanks for the welcome back.  I can't wait to get caught up on reading all of the posts from the last few weeks.

Hi Cainam,
San Diego is very nice.  I lived there for a couple of months, many moons ago.  Good luck with the money and the trip.  [Smiley]

hello Lasher ! good to see you're still around !

I've had one or two similar experiences, except I've had "astral vision" and have been able to see my surroundings through my eyelids. Everything has a slight blue tinge...the room also shimmers a little.

Needless to say, I could see that it was not my physical arm / leg that was moving !

Greetings Lasher,

And welcome back!

Is that your new home now in CA? It sounds like an absolutely wonderful and idyllic location! The last time I was in the States I drove around CA and saw some amazing sites.

The badlands of South Dakota certainly sound quite something - I have always been very interested in dinosaurs, and always wanted to do some fossil exploration in the badlands of Montana.

You will need a broadband connection if you are going to catch up. July was another record month at the Astral Pulse with over 6000 new posts and well over 700 new topics and 335 new members.

We will all look forward to your forthcoming posts.

With best regards,

Adrian.

Hi All!

Lasher here.  Sorry I have been absent so long.  I've been driving cross country with my wife and pets from Maine to California.  We took our time and saw some great sights like Niagra Falls, The Badlands of South Dakota, and Devil's Tower! (you know, that creepy looking mountain in the movie, Close Encounters)

Now, we're happily esconced in our tiny cabin amidst the redwoods of Los Gatos.  No broadband yet, but it's coming next week.  [Smiley]

I had an interesting Sleep Paralysis experience yesterday morning.  I woke up paralyzed for the first time in quite a long while.  My eyes were closed, but I could hear birds and things chirping outside.  I thought I heard voices outside the cabin.  I figured I should get up in case it was my landlord.  But, I couldn't move, of course.

Here is where the interesting part happened.  In every other sleep paralysis incident I can remember, my entire body was paralyzed.  This time, I found that I had completely free movement of my left arm and hand.  So I proceded to poke and slap at my face and my right arm to try to wake up.  My face and arm seemed to have no feeling, but I could feel them with my left hand.

Anyway, I wasn't having much success waking up the rest of my body.  Then I kind of lost consciousness or mentally fell back asleep.  Then I woke up normally.  The odd thing was that when I awoke, I felt sure that I had been poking myself with an astral arm or dream arm, rather than my physical arm.  At the time it was happening, I thought it was my real arm.

So that was my most recent paranormal experience.
Just to refresh, I've yet to have a remembered projection or lucid dream of any kind.  So far, this is about as exciting as things have gotten.  [Tongue]

Glad to be back!  I'll be on sporadically 'til we get the broadband hooked up.  Then I will get more involved with the board again.  Take care!!!

Lasher
