Greetings Mark!

Thanks very much indeed for these excellent links!

They serve extremely well to highlight the very purpose of this new forum.

I am locking this topic in place, for a time at least, to give everyone the opportunity of seeing the links.

Thanks again.

With best regards,

Adrian.

No problem !

.....i just hope that if mr Robert Bruce is reading, he doesn't get too upset about all the interest in Monroe's techniques over the past few weeks, as opposed to his NEW work !!

Greetings!

Well the Monroe work is not related to NEW, so I don't think he will be too upset http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

But Robert, like the rest of us, I am sure, is concerned first and foremost with the furtherance of the ability of all of us to reach and interact with the higher spheres, and in particular the Astral, in the best possible way.

I am absolutely sure myself that this entire "phasing", "focus", "portal" etc, is the way forward, because it is very much in line with similar concepts and methodology I am aware of, with similar results. I am hoping of course it can be improved, refined, and made available to more people as we progress.

My main concern about Monroe is that it is a commercial organisation - or at least it's products cost money to obtain. My own position is very simple - these things are much too important to humanity to be limited  by ability to pay. The ongoing mission therefore is to learn, and see how we can apply them here for the maximum benefit of all - and of course without cost.

with kind regards,

Adrian.

Adrian:
Just to let you know, TMI is a non-profit organization. I've been to the Gateway Voyage and saw most of their property - they aren't a big corporation at all. I would classify them as a small business that attracts interest from around the world. I know their Gateway Wave tapes cost a lot, along with the residential programs, but most of their single cd's are pretty cheap. From the impression I got, they pretty much break even from the sales of their products - nobody is getting rich off of anything.
I think most of the money they goes to operating costs and further research by Skip Atwater (the head of research).

Just my opinion, and I do understand where you are coming from. I hope my post doesn't have a negative tone towards you, I just wanted to give you information from a dofferent perspective.

Greetings Jza!

Thank you very much indeed for your comments.

Yes, from what I know of the Monroe Insitute, which is not all that much at this time I have to say,  they seem extremely genuine and honourable - and doing really excellent work. If I did not believe this of them, they would certainly not feature here as much as they do I assure you of that!

I will make an effort to aquaint myself better with their work in future.

But I still stay with my own view that these things should ideally be free of charge  - otherwise it dilutes their meaning, and can reduce them to a commercial level of perception.  They could, for example, make all of their audio products available in MP3 format for free download, and request donations by PayPal for example. As MP3 are free to produce and distribute, the reasoning of requiring the proceeds to manufacture more materials is moot.

But I do of course realise that they do residential courses and have necessary costs associated with those, and their research program. Perhaps a balance of making MP3 of their audio products available, while still charging for courses and hard materials. The free MP3's would likely bring many more people into this important work, and result in many more courses.

But this is not to detract from the Monroe Institute who, as I said before, are, it would seem,  doing excellent work for the benefit of Humanity.

With kind regards,

Adrian.

Adrian....

I agree totally that the Monroe institute should make mp3s!  I'm not saying they should put all their valuable info out for free but maybe just some key points.  I would love to know all the different focuses and there meaning, and where someone should be in during each specific focus.  Also a general idea of what to expect so we (people without the cds) aren't totally lost.  I think this would be a profitable position.

If you take an author who wants to sell their book, they want to publicize and get there book noticed as much as possible ,so they develop these wonderful informative sneak peak web pages of the contents and helpful info.  The Monroe Institute could do this same thing with the mp3s.

Greetings Tracy!

I am currently in communication with Monroe Institute on this issue.

Hitherto, they have merely taken a commercial stance and offered me a dealership http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

I reminded them once again that there is no way I could be party to any form of commercialism or materialism in such important matters as these.

I have also suggested that by making at least the course and CD documentation available for free download, people might be much more inclined of their own freewill to purchase a CD or attend a course if they deemed it appropriate. I made a similar point regarding downloadable MP3.

I wouldn't like to seem unfair, but it seems to me that Monroe seem intent on making ever more CD's and courses they can sell with the justification that it helps them to finance yet more CD's and courses http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

Anyway - I will keep everyone informed, and at the final analysis we can do our own projects right here for free - I have been working towards such possibilities with information gathered here and elswhere.

One thing I have discovered, when it comes right down to it, "phasing" as taught by Monroe, and is the basis of their courses and CD's is really potentially very, very simple, and it is far from certain that the so called "hemi-sync" frequencies are required at all.

I will keep everyone informed.

With best regards,

Adrian.

I agree with your last statement Adrian. It is not out of choice that I learn about phasing without the CDs from TMI. Aside from the fact that I experienced phasing almost by accident, at just over $100 for me to buy one CD set (Possibly much more if the Monroe site has not converted Pounds to Au dollars properly) I'm not likely to see what Hemi-sync is able to do for me.
I would like to learn more about these methods, but not at those prices.

I'm grateful that this particular forum is running as the info here has been of much value.

James.
