Greetings , here on forum when we start to speak about chakras mostly answer is that it's just methapor to understand meaning behind it , i agree with this but what's actually meaning behind it for you? from your personal experience or just thoughts

I don't really use them.  The energy does tend to move in the bottom to top direction but not always. Sometimes it's just there and sometimes from the heart or head. Different shamanic cultures describe the same thing. I think it's a description of the sensation of energy movment.  It feels like opening but I think what is actually going on is that your focus is changing. My understanding both from channeling and asking questions about it as well as experience is that the energy is always constant but we change what we are focused on. It gives the initial appearance that the energy is changing, until you look at the whole process closely and realize that by changing your focus you change the sensation
