I have been trying to project for almost a year now. I attempt 2 times everyday on average. I've been trying not to get frustrated but its starting to get a little hard. I get into the deepest state of relaxation and go through all the stages, then i let the tingling vibrations take over my body for a while, but when i try to make my exit attempt i fail every time. I don't get why it won't work. Someone PLEASE helpp ? :? ?  :? ?  :?

First of all, you shouldn't be trying twice a day.  You should try once a week and practice every day.  By practice I mean meditate and do energy work, especially energy raising.  As to why hasn't it happened?  It depends on what you've been doing.

How long do you practice every day?

What techniques do you use?

When I get the time to practice, I generally just aim at hitting the trance state and that's it.
I don't usually have much time to do anything else.  I wait until the weekend to work on the good stuff.

You could try phasing which does not involve much technique, it has worked for me better than the usual AP techniques. I was able to achieve results very shortly after I started trying; of course it also depends on the individual but from other members accounts I have read the results are generally faster. Also Bruce Moen methods seem simple to achieve.

Good luck

I agree.  You have to practice maintaining trance state, without attempting to do an obe that day.  If you try to do a trance and obe in the same day, you will get overly excited about the vibrations and knock yourself out of trance or something.  I've read that you should practice energy work and learn to stay in trance state, without attempting to exit, just try to stay in trance as long as you can, and practice expanding your energy body, without attempting to exit.  Then, once a week, you can attempt the exit.

Frankly, I think you are trying too hard, and probably thinking too hard about it too. No spiritual activity is a success if you try too hard. Cut down the practice. As one of the members has aptly pointed out, try to astral project once a week; and on the rest of the work you could just do energy work...relax, meditate, and so on. Hope this helps!

I think its good to be enthusiastic that you will achieve something during the practice, in order to have a good mind set, but if you do not reach the goal of astral projection you should at least have learnt something or developed some minor things during the practice.

These kinds of things are much more complicated than merely wishing it to all work, sometimes there are varying factors to be considered if its not working out... something which you will figure out on your own if you are intuitive, nobody here can truly give you a simple solution to your problem, sometimes you have to figure these things out with your own mind.

Hi,

My suggestion would be to start with trying to lucid dream, which is a wonderful way to get quality projections. You can will yourself to have an OBE from this state.

Also, I find it a lot easier to project when waking up, rather than when falling asleep. So try going to bed earlier, so that you can wake up earlier in the morning and practice. This seems to always work for me. :-)

Valkry is right, morning projections are much easier... because the body and mind is relaxed to a high degree compared to the tension built up at the end of the day, you wont have to spend much time with relaxation techniques in the morning, also if you do fall into a dream the chances of having a lucid dream are quite high.

I guess what you mean to say is projections when you wake up after sleeping are easier. I have been staying awake for quite a few many hours and waking up in the night / mornings. It can be rather strange sometimes!  :-D
