Being an Observer in Dreams

I've noticed lately that I seem to be watching a film in my dreams.  I'm not even taking part in the actual dream.  I am watching the film in my mind.  "I" am not participating in the dream.

The films vary.  No theme particularly.

Anybody else get this?  Anyone have any idea what it is when you don't participate in your dreams?

It sounds more like a "vision" than a dream. I tend to have visions (if that's what you want to call them) while meditating, where I'll see a scene or situation, but I'm not in it, just observing. They rarely make any sense.

A mystic might say that it's an indication of your 3rd eye becoming more naturally active, being able to "see" into the astral without leaving your body.

Maybe the ego dosen't necessarily feel the need to "exist" within a situation. You can observe and learn without taking anything personally or filtering it through emotions.

As to why this would happen, I have no idea...

Aye, have had dreams where I am just observing. Sometimes mundane things happen, other times very odd events take place. Its not like a film as such, as in a screen in front of me....with me its more like I am a disembodied presence within the events. Like I would imagine virtual reality TV would be like.

Once or twice I observed upto a certain point and then suddenly I would join the action. I have no record of going back to an observer position after joining.

Ordinarily when somebody wants to know what a dream "means" I tell them that Dreams are more about simple interpretation of the details.  I tell them that the important thing about Dreams are the Choices we make... how we respond to the action involved.  If we behave properly and appropriately, then our Dream Lives move on, but if we somehow 'get it wrong' then the dream will loop into a re-occuring dream, or a Dream Motif that we will be seeing for quite some time.

But your being disembodied, or perhaps seeing yourself in the 3rd Person, well, that takes choice and response out of the equation.  Here, you can only witness and evaluate, and learn.

Now, here is a hint.  Dream Scenes are a visualization of what is actually a verbal narrative.  Once I tried to prolong my dream by trying very hard not to wake up, and so I saw the transtion, as the Visual Dream Scene broke down into a narrative description.

So when you are being shown a dream, treat it as much as possible as though it is a linear story -- plot, denoument, moral. 

You see, there is something that you are required to learn in order to inform and prepare you again for Dreams where you will once again have the exercise of your will and faculties of decision and choice.

Oh, do you remember your last series of Dreams in which you were a First Person Actor?  Is there a possibility that you did something wrong?  For instance, a young lady I know had had one of those 'Naked in Public' Dreams and she was very embarrassed in the Dream.  Well, the point of those Dreams is to realize that nobody really cares whether we have cloths or not and that the proper response is not to obsess over it.  The last time I had such a dream, I thought, "oh, this again, well... the heck with it".  I wasn't going to worry about it.  And then I noticed a pile of cloths laying there on the bus seat.  The Dream was resolved with the proper response.   But the young lady with the Naked Dream was traumatized by humiliation to such an extent that she began having only those Disembodied Dreams without choice, response, will or action.  I wish I knew more about the details of her subsequent dreams, but I can guess that their central theme was toward making her less self-conscious and modest to the point of disability.

So, think back.  What happened?  And what can you now do about it, in the sense of Resolve.  One can talk to one's Higher Dream Mind and come to some accommodation, though it sometimes takes a week or two to see any effects.  The Higher Dream Mind requires time to put together a meaningful series of Dreams.  It is a Creative Process for the Dream Mind, and such things always take time.

Well, now that you have put it out into the open, what will happen now is that your Dream Higher Mind will give you some clues as to why you have been relegated to the role of pure observer, and whether it is good or bad, permanent or temporary.

And it is good that you will be paying attention.  For awhile I had been visiting a Lucid Dreaming Page, and those people would simply ignore every ordinary dream as entirely irrelevant... believing the modern materialistic propaganda that dreams are just random firings ordered by the subconscious mind.

The Truth is that Dreams are meaningful, that they have purpose, and that they source from something Collective and Higher than our individual selves and our small personas.

So, treating your dreams with respect will bring you all the answers.

i have also experience this phenomenon and find it harder to remember what happened in these types of dreams. also i have dreams frequently where i am constantly changing perspective, from person to person if there are multiple people in my dream.

Yes, the Dream Persona is a great deal more fluid and takes in a much broader grasp than our Waking Self.

I've often thought that Lucid Dreaming is useful in bringing the Waking Self's perspective to the Dream Persona -- which may help to moralize and civilize it.  But then, our Dreaming Persona helps to present our Waking Self with the perspectives of these various Dreaming Personas.

In our dreams we often simply assume that we are our Ordinary Self.  We do not often come across mirrors, or long reflective surfaces, but when we do we can sometimes be surprised by what we see.  One time, I thought I was myself, but caught 'my' reflection in a glass door across the room and saw that I was a svelt young lady.  Well, my waking self is NOT a svelt young lady.

Also, in monitoring the quality of our dreams, we should pay attention to the appearances of what we would consider ideal characters.  The existence of ideal characters in one's dreams are an indication that such quality is present in ourselves and could possibly be tapped into.

A 'third-wind", from personal energy reservoir, is key.

Yours and yours alone, not give / let others have, as you may find self drained, deflated.

Have always had...predictive, dreams in that there is no turning away.

Can relate to clarity sharpening.

In that there is no intervention involved, regardless observers, that are being observed...

I've had a number of film viewings which are always weird. These are not like dreams, they are much more akin to AP, for me anyway. I find myself in sort a of theater, usually there are 2 or 3 other 'initiates' there as well. Sometimes it's just me with an instructor and maybe an observer. Haven't thought about these in a while so dredging my memory here.

The films are always bizarre. But I've been shown things, like how to move around within the film and 'jump' to other realities. How to use the films. Anyway it's weird and I haven't experienced this lately so...

 Last night I had the ultimate "Observer Dream". At no time whatsoever, (while I was consciously aware that is), did I become a "Actor" or part of the scenario.

Before I went to bed I made a mental request. That request/intent was to see ahead what 2021 had awaiting us. Cue the Dream.

I see that I am watching the dig for treasure at Oak Island. Once in awhile on Tuesday night, I will watch that show on the History Channel. It's called "The Curse of Oak Island". Many seasons later, they still haven't found anything. It has it's moments though. There is a ton of Historic research in it, from Pirates to Knights of the Templar/Free Masons. But in my Dream it was different. By the way, this entire Dream was in your face HD, like what you would see in the theatres. Yet, there was no other audience but myself, That I knew of at least.

Back to the Dream. So the guys on Oak Island learn about a map that supposedly has the location of a treasure. That treasure is the "Ark of Covenant". The story goes, the "Knights of the Templar" hid it, with the Pope of the times okay, because it contained a secret energy source that had to be contained and hidden away from all. The family that has the map is finally open to sharing it for the first time ever. The Oak Island survey crew quickly set up a meeting to view it. Some say and I agree that the Ark of Covenant was some kind of device. They date it back to the Pyramids and say that it was found in what is called the tomb (even though no body was found in it) that is found in the King's Chamber. That tomb seems to be the same dimensions that the Ark of the Covenant was. Just a quick note, I believe the Pyramid itself is a device as well.
There were many "cut scenes" just like you find in a real movie as well.

So now, they fly the owner's of the map to Oak Island and are studying it in what they call their "War Room". On the show, that is what they call the room as well. They see that it has been signed by the Pope of that time. There is a letter attached to the actual map as well, written at the time period the map was made.
Long story short, the guys at Oak Island are given the letter and Map. The first thing they do is send it to a specialist to find out it's authenticity. They find out it is authentic. But in the letter it says there are two copies, not one and that the second copy is in the Vatican Archives. Using their clout and social media pressure they get the Vatican to release their document as well.

Now, they know this is the real deal. They immediately move all of the boring/digging machinery over to the new location and begin to dig. The Canadian authorities/Gov't is now starting to watch this. So are other Gov'ts around the World.

They begin digging in the spot shown on the map and when they hit a depth of 240 ft something extraordinary occurs. The drill that is digging the bore hole along with the entire multi ton machine doing the digging, hits something and is catapulted high into the sky and it lands 60 miles away in the Ocean. They seem to have hit upon some kind of extraordinary energy source.

Now everyone in the World's attention is on this. The American Gov't strongarms the Canadian Gov't to take over the research here. A representative of the American Gov't then goes to the United Nations to talk about the find. But what he says isn't what people there want to here. He basically tells them all that the American Gov't will keep them all updated on what they find and that after they have studied the source of the energy they will share their findings with the World. The Gov't of the United Nations don't like that. They believe that the World Gov't should work together and a representative of each Nation that wanted in, should be able to be there right of the get go. The American representative refuses that proposal and now tensions are starting to grow. Soon after the American Gov't issues a warning that any spy Satellites found overhead will be dealt with immediately.

So, the dig is on. The World tensions have now grown to a fever pitch. The World powers, Russia/china etc. realize that whoever has this new power source is going to be able to run the World with no way to stop it.

War is imminent now. Just as a war is about to begin, the researches on Oak Island hear a sonic boom. It has come from under the ground. They then here the very clear and audible words of a very low voice that says "This is why you are not ready to see". The hole immediately begins filling itself back in, in dramatic fashion, all the way to having grass and trees on it, exactly the way the Island looked before any digging had begun. The Island is then cordoned off as untouchable to all. The End!

This was one of the most unique LDs I have ever had. It would make a fantastic movie as well. Looking at what I was shown and what my initial question about what to expect in 2021, it seems we are in for more "surprises". The Ark of the Covenant could be seen as a "revealing". The fact that we weren't ready to see could mean that we as a race still need to grow before we are able to up a grade. We as a whole weren't ready, because we still live in a World that is governed by greed and also fear. The other Gov'ts in the United Nations had the idea to come together as a whole. But many of them had their own separate agendas for the whys. It was the President/Leader of the United Nations that had the best intentions. That's a major plus for us going forward. It needs to start somewhere.

It's a bit long but what I read has something to do with this ARK, and our human history including a little insight to our suppressors. That human trafficking extends outside the globe. I read something about holographic disc containing vast amounts of information, DNA repair and that this knowledge is our birthright- but that this material has been suppressed and selectively distributed to a few. The truth is we are ready but we are kept enslaved. Even mislead by the knowledge itself, made to worship the possessors of the knowledge rather than the omnipresence of God. That however, can never be detained- erased or manipulated- GODS LOVE. One only need to learn discernment and develop Intuition- Faith, recognize the Living Spirit guiding us ALL. I am extremely excited for the contact revelations that are to come out between now and 22. And understand that contact has already begun. Certainly this year and the next will bring trying times.

There is one more global catastrophe similar to the covid experience predicted sometime 2025, by 2029 real reform begins. By 2034 we witness a more compassionate generation become leaders.

We have the technology already to end world hunger, provide clean water for all- but we haven't implemented it. Free energy concepts have been shut down by tyrannical forces before my incarnating here.

I have learned from Swami Vidyadhishananda that todays warring ideals are civic nationalism vs globalism. He mentioned the 1922 Rio De Jeinero Earth Summit, good intentions with nefarious characters implementing cruel agendas- depopulation and digital certification. Your thoughts on a one world government make sense when you think about introducing our race as an intergalactic civilization- I don't think it'll happen just yet, but we are introducing the narrative as a collective- understanding the rapid evolution of technological advancement and need for a more harmonious integration. It is greed and the race for power that keep the general population butt backwards. There is nothing wrong with recognizing and preserving cultural differences- todays powers looking to establish global dominance totally disregard this.

Not everyone is intentionally suppressing us, look at the culture and way of life here in the West. We've neglected some idea's in favor of profit. We're taught what to enjoy and what to dislike. A great meeting of minds will happen between the East and West and Science and Faith co-exist as it has many years ago. Personally... Let the ever blossoming beneficence of Gods Spirit reign supreme and let us find new ways to establish the birthright that is our divine inheritance, our ancestral knowledge.

 Nameless and Tides, what I wrote here was the short version of what i saw. Because of the many "cut-scenes", like over to the Vatican, United Nations, Russia, China, etc., it really was quite a experience. I got to see the way the World as a whole "assimilated" and reacted to the discovery of the Ark. A large part of the scenario had to do with the history of the Ark as well. Unfortunately, that history is not told/revealed in the history books that we read today. There are though a few Authors/researchers that have actually delved into this "rabbit hole". But mainstream Science/Archeologists immediately jumped all over them.

The Dream scenario lasted quite awhile and I was shocked myself to see that I remained consciously aware through the entire thing!  

Thank You for sharing that link Tides!   I haven't read it yet, but am definitely planning to later tonight. I like reading and listening to video interviews during the wee hours of the morning, during what is known as the "Psychic Quiet time". I think that's why I like the late nights/early mornings so much. There is a major lack of "conscious clutter".

 Tides, I went to that link and took the option to listen to the video narrative instead of reading the whole thing.

When I go to listen to a video of that stature, I will put my headphones on, go to my lazy-boy chair and recline it. I then close my eyes and being to listen to the "book" narrative. While listening, I allow any visuals that wish to accompany it to appear. Many times I feel like I am in the time period or at the event that the Narrator is speaking about. I use them as a "walkthrough" of sorts.

This time though, my "BS Meter" started going off early in the video. I continued to listen and got to about the 45 minute part of the video before my BS Meter had filled to capacity and I had to turn it off. The woman's mono-tone voice was distracting. But I don't agree with much of the content. Simply because that is not the way I was "seeing it" playing out.

I live by the adage "I believe half of what I hear, but everything I see"! I have always lived by those words. I am open to listening to other points of view. I listen to quite a few videos and interviews that I don't agree with. But like with them, there comes a point when I have to turn them off. Thank you for the share anyways!

I hadn't realized there was a video the first time I found this. When I tried listening I too was put off by the womans voice. Reading the material was much more enjoyable for me. What grabbed me was to find a link between the lucifer rebellion and a personal experience, the insights of a lumerian conflict, the mention of an advanced AI and to see connections between this particular tale compared to man's history where hoarding wisdom, priest class/cult like factions and war are common place. Idea's introduced to me ring true, another one being human trafficking existing through out the galaxy.

When I listen or read stories, I find the commonalities in themes and ponder on idea's being presented to me. It's like listening to music, sometimes finding relevancy and meaning wildly different from the artist' intention. I do believe in the things I've shared with you in the previous post. Those things being my thoughts towards a one world government and our ability to end world hunger. I also believe Swami Vidyadhishananda's timeline predictions. Thank you for voicing your disagreement. When I think about the story I think... If this great technology can be destroyed, what then? I find my self asking why the obsession with such knowledge- to the point of perversion? I'm not above this. Just another idea. With or without the physical information from the Ark, or any advanced technology lost over time- the reality that is Goodness and Discovery is always available to us.

 Tides, my BS meter turns on when I hear any talk about a "Lucifer rebellion" itself. I have no problems with the talk and conversations on Lumeria. I may be wrong, probably am. But when I hear anyone talking about any Luciferian connections I can't listen anymore. I don't buy it. That name wasn't even around then! The Lumerian civilization was here way before any of that "religious" rhetoric even existed. Just my opinion!

I just wanted to add this. I am a proponent of the Emerald Tablets. I have listened to many video and interviews based on them and have even listened to the long version of the Emerald Tablet of Thoth Collection. There is 14 videos in the collection. Billy Carson also talks often about Thoth and Emerald Tablets.

I listened to that video last night until just past the halfway mark.. that's as far as I could make it, too. Her voice, it is like she is attempting to replicate Barbara Marciniak in her reading of the Pleiadean keys to the living library. Yeah it falls a little short.
