Well tell us the date so if we don't see you on here after that date we will have an idea of if this dream was true.

I have had dreams about dieing and being physically dead, but I was always alive in some form or another somewhere. Interesting dreams but I was never given a date.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

If you don't ever hear from me again after 29 April 2030, assume the dream has come true!

By then, I'll be an old lady anyway.

And computers will probably not be as we know them...

Hi ho.
We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Ok, let me pencil you in to check up on you in 26 years. lol

I have about 20 more years... At least that is what my intuition says... I believe I will be leaving at around 53

Lighthouse - that's interesting, I've always thought I'd die in my 60s (my dream suggests I'll be 63).  Perhaps my subconscious knew this and played my dream out accordingly.

Is it just a hunch that you'll die at that age?

The real question is, what is Time and what is it's true properties? Is time only linear? Or are we just experiencing it in a linear fashion? If on some level all Time is one, then all things have already happened, but on our level we are experiencing it individually and linear, just as we on this level perceive ourselves as separate from each other. If everything has already happened then it seems reasonable that we should be able to move our consciousness to a higher level where Time is merged to see what will happen from our perspective.

On the other hand, if Time is purely linear then there is no tomorrow yet and your dream can be nothing definite, only a possibility. But then anything is possible.

Well I never thought I would make it this far. So much for my intuition. lol

I think you are right, but my brain is hurting now.

I dreamed of the date of my own death, which was logged into a large ledger type of book.

It was a very significant dream and I knew at the time to remember it.  I even asked the 'figure of authority' to tell me whether the date I heard was correct.

Has anyone else had a dream of their own death-date?

It wasn't frightening, but then again, I'm not particularly afraid of death or my own death, just very interesting.

I don't know whether I believe it - I don't want it to become a self-fulfilling prophecy, but just wondered if anyone else had dreamed of this.

Ho hum.
