Animals in real-time zone

I'm about half way through Astral Dynamics,and Mr.Bruce,states that animals and children,pretty much naturally project on the real-time level.I was wondering if perhaps there would be specific exercises(rituals?) that would increase an animal's ability to project higher into the spectrum of dimensions?
Specifically,a puppy,who has lost it's mother at about 6-8 weeks,that I've taken in.I figure that if there is a way it would only make sense to start as early as possible.
