Can anyone who has been to the Akashic hall describe what it looks like.  I have not been able to find anything on the Web.  I was at a spiritual retreat awhile back and projected to a large stone bridge that went West/East over what appeared to be water.  I'm not sure it water below however.  To my north was a huge stone building perhaps six stories tall.  It was a type Roman or ancient Greek architecture with stone steps leading to the entrance.  It had huge stone pillers at the entrance also.  I was there only a short time and did not get in before the projection ended.  Also when I get back there will I be greeted at the entrence? I felt I was a higher plane then I normally get to as just a few days earlier I encountered two twenty foot Angles who led me into a church.  I was definitely in a higher Astral plane then normal and believe it was do to the retreat.  Also what plane are the records on the Casual or Mental?   Thanks.  Lee

I read quite a few different descriptions... which one is correct?
Is it really a "place"?  Some people say it's a state of mind...
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Agntneo

It's hard to belive that there is such a place, but why not? I don't know you must go there by yourself.

The akashic records is visited by Remote Viewers, Clairvoyant people and Experienced astral travelers.

What makes the whole thing hard is that the time you use to get to the place you want and get the info you want it's to late, your sub conscious mind is taking over and you loose control.

I try to keep a ho-hum additude really, but again I really want to belive.

BOATS

The only movie description I have seen of the place is in "What Dreams May Come."  When Robin Williams is looking for his wife and he is escorted there by his son to find a so called TRACKER played by Max Von Snydow.  It appears a large library where he is told "You hear alot of smart stuff around here, Most of it true".

Telos

I imagine the akashic records would look like a library just as easily as it could look like a computer terminal. What user interface do you prefer? Perhaps you prefer the most efficient interface, which is no interface. But then what would you be, but everything and therfore nothing?

In a lucid dream, I spun myself and flew upwards. I never liked the word "akashic record," because it is coarse mouthful. So I requested to appear in "The Library."

In a flash of light, I found myself in what was, to my subtle surprise, an ordinary community library. The carpet was a dull color and the air was crisp and dry from air conditioning. However, it was a library I had never seen before, and the archictecture was aesthetically pleasing if unremarkable. It looked solid and "real." I laughed at that thought, for this was supposed to be the library of reality. Why should it not look "real?"

I found a librarian, who was young and looked about as plain and attractive as the building. I stupidly asked for confirmation on where I was, "excuse me, is this the akashic record?" She eyed me curiously, wondering what I could be possibly doing there without knowing where I was, but then she knowingly nodded a smile, realizing I had a problem with the word. "You mean the Archives?"  "Yes," I said, thinking that that's such a more elegant word. "They're in the basement. I'll show you."

She led me down the hall towards a door leading down a small wooden spiralling staircase. We went down one floor and the walls were brick, old, and lined with torches. The ceilings were buttressed with wooden planks and there were cobwebs in only some of the corners. "Do you need any more help?" the librarian asked me. "No, thank you," I said. "I'm fine." She shut the door, and I was alone. The light was warm and all I could feel was wonder.

I walked into the first alcove of bookcases and found that there weren't actually books but, and this is very hard to describe, "ideas." I could say that they looked like crystal balls with images in them, but that would be grossly superficial. They were more like "access nodes," if one wanted to study the subject in detail. Many of them appeared to be on subjects I just did not understand, ideas that I could not possibly digest without some kind of reference in my real life. In a small "kids section," I found one of past and future Ninja Turtles episodes, but kept on looking for something more interesting. Then there was the Harry Potter series, especially the books which had not been written yet... ah, it was like a soft vibrant gem that had rained the imaginations of a million children. I put it aside because I felt it was better to simply wait. I realized that I had absolutely no reason to be there, and felt it better that I should return with an explicit purpose.

I have since been looking for an excplicit purpose. :/

BOATS,

I had what is an Akashic Records encounter a number of years ago. At the time I wasn't aware of such a name. I'm guessing it was on the mental plane. This can't be for sure because I didn't arrive to this place/plane under my own power. This place I was taken seemed to be set up by higher powers(God plane?). The visual (while receiving anything and every kind of information possible) were white lines amid white light fog.It was almost too much to take. It also made me think that I wouldn't be able to come back to this Earth plane. I was in the physical but not sure what time I was taken to.It felt like maybe a pre-birth time or place. I panicked and ended the experience.I was pointed North for this experience. There was an East and West part of this. There was an energy arch or semi-circle on the left (Westward). I wonder if the bridge you mentioned is similar to this energy conduit of some kind I saw?

Not long ago I had a dream about the Records. I was standing by a shelf of books. In the dream I recognized the books as Akashic Records. A couple of books on the shelf were minature houses shaped like books, and people were in them. I didn't understand the dream any more than this.

Akashic records may be on more than one plane.

I have to start getting more serious about Astral travel and get rid of the Fear.  If I do this perhaps I will get back there again soon.  Everytime I have a real intense AP I get scared I have died or will get stuck.  That is the reason I do not know more about the records then I do.  Two times I have had Guides come up to get me and say they want to talk to me and I run. Once I had a guide show me several deseased children and I paniked and awoke.  No one ever informed me the guides would be looking for me.  I always thought I had to look for them but they actially are seeking me out.  I also never believed the AP and the people would be so real.  I always belived it would all be like a dream but it's not. A good AP is more real then the physcial.  I will get back there soon as I feel the quides are still seeking me out but they need me to be prepaired the next time.  I will let all know as I find out more.

wisp

It takes some trust in the spirits who are guiding you. :D

BOATS

Yes, I have to have more trust.  It's just that I have not been Astro Projecting for too long and lack experience.  The Guide that showed me the children was a man but the Guide that approached me once when I projected and requested to see God was a women.  Quite a lofty goal for a person affraid to meet a guide to request to meet GOD. After I told her to stay away a man come througt the same door she did and I told him to stay away.  He just said O.K. but the women seemed anoied.  Then they returned into the door they came through.  If these AP would just happen when I try I would be better ready but they happen when I do not exspect it.  It's funny that most people are affraid to die once and I am the same.  If you think about it most people who project go througt the NDE hundreds of times.

wisp

BOATS,

For me, I didn't think about the death possibilty until I went to bed later the same night. Thinking back on the experience while trying to go to sleep, it hit me as being a NDE. It caused me to panic again. Be careful is all I know to say. It wouldn't hurt to get some expert opinions.

The AR is not a library that can be visited in the Astral.  It is the theory/idea that all human events are recorded.  Jung based some of his studies on this idea.  There are archives in the Astral but not the so called AR.

The new quantum physics called the Zero Point Field, (ZPF), has a perfect explanation for Akashic Records. The understanding of the ZPF is revolutionary.  But for the purpose of this thread the new understanding of memory is that your memory is not stored in your mind or body but all events are stored in the Field and your mind is only an access tool.

This also helps explain what people have mistaken for memories of past lives with accessing the "Record" in the Field. This also helps explain how precognition works as one has the ability to access future events already recorded in the Field.

I can give no input of a personal nature as I have yet to project myself, at least consciously, but I read A LOT.  Not everything that is written is to be believed at face value but many people have written about the Akashic Record and trips they believe they have taken there.
Supposedly it is true that the Record does not exist as a place as we would perceive it... though ... I suppose reality depends on the viewpoint.  Akasha is thought to be an energetic record of not just human events in the Universe but all events and knowledge.  It will seem to you to be a location that meets your expectations of it.

What I am eager to find out is whether or not true knowledge could be attained and carried back to physical reality through visits to the Record.  Could one learn to play the guitar or command a knowledge of thermodynamics or mathematics or...  what have you?  That would be... interesting.
And then, in dreaming, the clouds methought would open and show riches ready to drop upon me, that when I waked, I cried to dream again.

That's what I'm currently working on, and I'm convinced it's possible. However, I've reached a wall in my preparations :/ What should I learn? What information should I bring back? Perhaps I should start with something simple. But does that mean I am losing my "faith," which will compromise the experience? In principle, shouldn't it be the same as asking for something comparatively impossible?

Should I follow my interest? Well, my interests are in art, and, I must say, I have quite a vivid imagination, and beautiful and simple art forms enter my mind at will -> as if I was continuously accessing some grand repository. Concentration inhibits their reproduction, so the skills involved with producing the art are learned in the process of producing it.

So, to try and access the akasha for information other than art, I would have to concentrate on something else, and that would interfere with my "connection." Since I find art naturally appealling, I would have to reshape or divide my conscious attention to allow multiple streams. It's possible, although it may mean becoming schizophrenic.

Oh well, small price to pay for science.  8)

It sounds to me like you are talking about the astral city of Falias.   If you ever make it to this place a guide will take you to the center of the city where there is a great stone building.  Just inside of the entrance is what is called the Stone of Fal.  This giant stone blocks the passage into the building.  Your guide will tell you to say to the stone what your motives are for wanting entrance into the building.  You can not lie and must answer sincerely why you have come.  If you answer correctly the stone will move and you can enter the hall where you will find a vast library; a repository of knowledge of both our world and the Otherworld.  You will also find Morfesa who is a great teacher.  Morfesa they say appears differently to those he encounters.   Ask him what you will he will answer you questions. However , you may not understand everything he tells you.  Once you learn how to journey to Falias you can return as often as you are able.  Never stay too long.  This maybe what some have refered to as Hall of AR. (?)

Why is it that so many people are more interested in terminology than answers?

C'mon guys! The questioner just wants to know about a place on the Astral where information is stored. Does it really matter what name they give it??

"There's no such thing as Akashic records where all information is stored but there IS an (insert name here) where all information is stored."

Sheesh. . . reminds me of a heated argument I once saw where one guy fanatically refused to accept the existence of the Real Time Zone (where APers can 'see' the physical plane) but was convinced of the existence of the Etheric Plane (where APers can 'see' the physical plane). . .

kerux

Of course names and terms matter or you would never be able to distinguish one thing from another or one place or another.   If someone wanted to go to Paris you wouldn't send them to a no name big city; you would never get to your destination.  Specifics matter.  This is not an argument only a clarification. As Spinoza said 'if we are going to communicate let us define our terms.'

why not?  just curious.

I am new to this forum but I am certain there have been many discussions on the divisions of the Astral Planes, High, Low, etc.  But when you crossover to the Otherworld you don't want to get too "at home" there as you may loss track of returning to the reality of the physical plane.

However, in the 25 plus years I have been projecting I have never had a problem, but I have run into those who have.  Error on the side of caution I suppose.

some sorta consequences prehaps? maybe you get banned or maybe you become punished. But i suspect there is a good reasons for this warning

Telos

It's simpler than that. The more time someone attaches themselves to the feeling and bliss of dreaming, the more likely it is that they will be depressed and angered by the real world. At least that's how I interpret this warning.

Don't let your imaginations carry you away.

I agree. I think what the AR will look like is based on you and your particular personality. The astral is, when compared to the physical, of course, much more susceptible to the effects of our own minds. It's important not to get too caught-up in names. I think time is better spent thinking about what it is that you want to accomplish. If that is your focus, your mind will lead you to that [place]- whatever the name may be.

mazdaaf

yah,  i went there once but i actually skipped the whole "entering a place" part. I thought about going there and then i saw this book with my name on it open and i thought about waht i wanted to know and i saw the answer playing out before me. So i think it depends on the person for how u see it..i think it might not actually be a specific place that u can pinpoint.

There is something there,

But is it duty"

Quote from: BOATSCan anyone who has been to the Akashic hall describe what it looks like ?

There are a few different places I have been to that are all connected as we all are in consciousness .

One is the Hall of Records which we get to in meditation by visualising this rotting staircase going up the wall of a building that looks like it was bombed in World War 2 . You will see the gray wall on your right and the stairs go up in a rickety fashion up to the third floor missing some steps with holes in a few too . There is always a door on your left as you reach the top .

When you enter you see stacks of books and smell them like a wonderful old library . The librarian has a cat... a round fat tabby gray one on her counter. She is short with glasses on a chain round her neck .She has long hair pulled in a disarray up on her head it appears blondy gray ...some in a bun... some hanging down. She asks you to sign the book with this black and gold pen  until she knows you . She speaks every language the world has but she always sounds like a New Yorker to me .

You float to the area you wish to view and you put your arms out and the books come to you . The books are read by passing the hand over the pages which open to the place you wish to read all by thought .

Some books are not allowed to be accessed by all . If you ask to see your own Book of Life you may not be allowed to turn all the pages either . There are a lot of rules .

You will see a long hall with a floor of black and white checkered  marble tiles also as you enter . The hall proceeds to the right of you . The counter on the left the hall on your right the stacks in front of you . And then at the end of this hall which is on your right when you enter you see the doors  which goes into shamballah . They swing inwards but the one on the left is often locked into the floor so you push open the one on the right to proceed . But you can't pass through it until you have been allowed to enter it .

Thru the door you enter into a long marbled corridor which has doors that are arched on either side and a long high transom entrance  doorway at the far end going out to the plaza outdoors into Shamballah . The doors lead into all sorts of information access areas that seem to change . There are rooms for example that are the akashic records in a wall a circular wall that is a movie screen which allows you to view the past present and future at once as you turn . You will see for example your own life and visions of it there .

There is also a card catalog type of room with huge file cabinets so very many of them the cards fly into your hands . There is a large black man here in a native costume from Africa . His voice sounds like music and I like him so much . He has a soft deep voice and you know the lovely sort like James Earl Jones . He seems to always wear yellow and orange .

And another room where you sit and put on these old Crystal headsets and hear music from the ages even before sound was recorded with human technology .

The technology is on a range from ancient to futuristic .

Out the doors you will see gardens and on your left the white palace entrance to Shamballah . To your right the lovely rainbow waters of Life .

To test and confirm my own perception I take others there with me in the group merkaba and have them describe it to me like I am  blind . I also go back again and again and try to map it out each time .

All these times I do not know the librarian or the butler's  name . I call the lady Mrs. Wiggles as that is what her names sounds like to me . But I think it is more like Woczinsky . She seems Polish and Jewish to me .  The butler seems Russian and I call him Jeeves like the search engine . He appears tall like lurch and severe he wears a black and white butler tails tuxedo .

There are also maps in their room which you can pass your hand over to read and globes and these help you find other spiritual realms . There is a thin short young woman the only young person there who looks a lot like Lucy Liu . She manages the vertical file the maps the rare books esoteric and occult knowledge . I wonder if she is the cat as she just apparates out of the wall . I reckon she is a guide and a security measure .

The doors in the main hallway are wooden and polished and very high .

I am not sure how yet but this complex is connected to the Museum of the
Worlds and The Temple of Records which are part of the Temples of Wisdom which connect also to Shamballah.

For example ,there is also a library entrance beneath the volcano Temple of Pele in Shamballah but we just found that last night and we did not get to go into it yet . One from the Knights Templar barred the passage .

So the Hall of Records is English in culture and tongue
but there is prolly one for every culture on Earth or it  may change for each one that enters it to reflect their own language
the Hall of Learning is Planetary and reflects all Earth cultures
the Museum of The Worlds within the Temples of Wisdom is Universal

The Archives are in a basement under which of these buildings I am not sure yet perhaps it runs beneath them all

This sounds like you were at the bridge that runs over the great dome at the temple of wisdom connecting the male godhead Temple of healing wisdom to the female goddess aspect at the Temple of compassion . At least there is a bridge that runs over the gardens of the Temples of Wisdom Complex that has a structure as you describe to the North of it .
There is water beneath the bridge and a garden too and golden dome like roof of a structure as well to your immediate South .

Yes the Akashic Hall connects to this structure . The Hall of Records connects to the Hall of Learning which connects to Shamballah . Shamballah has many doors and tunnels that connect both to the Hall of learning  and also to the Temples of Wisdom . There are also two temples called The Temple of Records and another called the Musueum of the Worlds within this complex Temples of Wisdom where I believe you projected . I suggest you go into the Hall of Records first ask to be taken there and see yourself there going up the rickety stairs a wall on your left shoulder and opening the first door you see on your left . Go in greet the librarian sign in and put your arms out . Ask for what you want to see and it should float to you . You could ask to see your Book of Life it is often easier to look at the page it comes open to . If it is closed aska question and it should open to a page to answer it if it is for your greater good and your business to know . The answer from the book may appear clairvoyantly like a vision and not like words .

Quote from: BOATSAlso when I get back there will I be greeted at the entrance? Lee

Yes we are generally greeted by either a "none shall pass" no nonsense sort of security like a knight or a door that will not open OR  by a librarian of sorts in any of these halls . I am certain that all can go in by the astral entrance but to proceed to the Hall of Learning and open the next door you have to have built up the light quotient to allow you to perceive it . Buddhist wisdom : Until you are ready to receive the message you can not perceive the messenger . Christian : Ask and the teacher will be revealed to you .

Well though they are all connected the Hall of Records is easiest to access and is on the 4th or Astral Plane according to Dr. Joshua David Stone and some other meta physicist authors .

The 5th plane is the Monadic Plane and the one where we access the mahatma , the teachers of spirit .

The 6th is the place where the Golden Chamber of Melchiezedek lies and the flames of Michael and Germaine . Here we see archangels and get the first initiation of ascension (called by Alice Bailey the 6th initiation )

The 7th plane is the plane of Shamballah- an earthly  realm of spiritual experience to teach us . Some call it paradise there are higher ones though.

I am told that the Temples of Wisdom are on the 12th Dimension but that does not ring with truth to me . Maybe the 8th not sure .

I cannot say that the enumeration is right but it makes sense from my own experiences that there is a hierarchy of difficulty to access. It is harder to get to Shamballah then it is to get to the Hall of Records and getting to the Temples of Wisdom is harder still . But still they are all connected .However you enumerate them lol .

All paths lead to God... the shortest path is within the heart .. within you there is a sanctuary to which you can retreat at anytime and be yourself . Go within and know thyself ....
