My friend might die?

Okay, so my friend used to live in a haunted house. Middle of the night screaming, writing on the walls(no lie), and the whole being watched feeling. Well while he was in this house he had a dream he was in his bathroom. He went to look at the mirror of the bathroom and saw a face in place of his own that had blinded green eyes(pale) and yellow jagged teeth. He turned and it was beside him. It took a knife and stabbed him in the throat. He turned to run away and he woke.  The next morning he took a shower in the bathroom. He went to wipe away the fogged up mirror and remebered his dream. So he just turned shut the door and left the bathroom.  He watched the bottom of the door and a shadow appeared at it.  He told me he didnt take a shower in his house for a while. A week later he was leaving his room where a body mirror is hanging on the wall.(keep in mind this isn't the dream.) He looked at the mirror and saw the face again and fell down the steps.  A week from that he was walking up to his house from the backyard and thought he saw a body hanging from the tree.  He fainted and was awoke about an hour later.  A week from that he saw the face again at a mirror in school while semi delerious(he ended up in the girls restroom.) He went to the doctor and they said he was malnuritiourted(spelled that wrong). He moved out of the house and it stopped. That all happened about a year ago. Only out of nowhere he saw the face again two days ago and he just found out that he has to move back into that house in a month.  I have no clue how to help him and I fear that these events happening are pretty importnant to the fact that he is moving back into that house a day after his birthday. The house has been around for 170 years and the dream and events that happened are for more graphic and brutal for me to write down(to much writing). So unless someone feels I should go into greater detail I rather not.  I don't want my friend to die or go insane or anything of that sort so if someone could give me information on a way to stop these things from happeneing that would be so great.  I think that the thing haunting the house has done something or going to do something to him.

Wow... i mean that's no small thing. One of my friends uncle had an 'encounter' with a "ghost" as he described it and after 2 years of torment ended up in a mental hospital. There is probably a much higher chance of him losing his grip on sanity than a "spirit" killing him. However with a loss of sanity comes suicidal behavior or he may see something and get scared, putting himself in danger.

It seems like it is the house that is causing all this, the only suggestion i can give is that he stays the f**k away from it. If that is possible... does he have to move back in?

yah unfortunatley he has too. His parents can't pay rent on the house they have right now so they have to move back into the one they have been trying to sell. No one wants to buy it.

That sucks...
He could try an excorsist (do they get ghosts out too??) i mean im n ot a big believer in it, but if he has a spirit problem then why not try someone who specialises in getting rid of them.

Maybe he should (or you could on his behalf) research this type of thing so you could find a solution.
Show this entity whos boss.... so to speak.
I dont know a great deal about ghosts at all... but could it be likely that its harrassing your friend just because it can? Perhaps if your friend shows this thing that he's stronger than it, it will bugger off.
Personally, thats what i would do.. couldnt hurt could it?

Thats what I thought like maybe it is feeding off of his fear and manefesting off of it. The exorcism wouldn't help he is heavy atheist and wouldn't consider it unless he seriously had no other choice. I am researching a bit I figured that if the attck started in his dreams then maybe I could try to obe into the house and do something I don't know what yet considering I don't enven know if energy works the same way here as it does there.?
