Can't break through the fear.

Hello, Astral Pulse Community

How do you guys get past the part in the beginning of "Astral Travel" because it stops me EVERY SINGLE TIME.
For some odd reason if I sleep a certain way I have found that i will OBE 100% of the time, Literally!!

It starts off like this...
I lie down, then It take's about 45 mins for me to begin to drift off.
As i Drift off I begin to see pictures and hear tones.
Then all of a sudden it shoots me back into my room. :|
Then I'm seeing out of my body, but I cannot move.
Then i see something tall (Dark)Black coming towards me.
Then i hear this voice shout FIGHT! FIGHT!
I literally saw my life flashes before my eyes.( I have tried I cant over ride this. It's feels like every single cell in my body is shouting)
and i wake up with my head feeling **heavy**

in waking life I don't fear death, but when I try to do this my mind rationalizes on it's own.
It's like you don't want to die? do you? then fight!
then I wake up every single time.

So my question is... how do i break through the fear?

The fear of death is one of the toughest to get over with.
I had the same problem in the beginning, to get over it you need to go with positive thoughts.
Remember you are not going to die in any way.
However you will experience what it feels to die.
The way I faced it is that I welcomed the experience of death and the emotion in it.
The thing is instead of trying to face death you must absorb it.
By absorbing it you face your fear and you feel what most will never feel until they actually die.
Instead of pushing death away, you welcome it and it's feeling.
You must only see the positivity of this experience in order to overcome it.
Keep thinking to yourself that you are ready to experience it during the day and while you attempt AP.
Keep telling yourself that the holy is with you and you will not be hurt.
It should fix the problem.
You must remember that you won't die because you attempt AP, you may feel weird body sensations and as if you were dying but this is the point of facing that fear, it will give you the experience of what death feels like.

Every time I have a fear I accept that I have it and I try to see the positive side of the fear and absorb it.
I gain energy from the fear and overcome it.

So far it has never failed me.

What you mean to say is that you consciously BELIEVE you don't fear death.  Well, telling yourself that you don't fear death and actually NOT fearing death are two completely different things.

Obviously, you're lying to yourself.  You'll need to come to terms with that AND the fear of death before you're able to move on.

You just face it head on.  Fear can't be beaten with anything but your own courage.

I would try breaking the cycle by changing the setting.  My projection/phasing is mostly practiced in a room set apart for meditation and during meditation sessions. It's taken longer to learn but at this point I'm able to phase and am starting to have some control over what happens. ( I'm not going into the visions but passing them for a specific  " destination" within.) The phasing and projection is more of a byproduct of what I'm doing rather than the goal. But with the frequent sessions I do I've learned quite a bit about the process. First I have no exit symptoms. I can see the edges of the vision as I pass through. I can hear as well but I don't have to be projected to hear astral sounds and voices. I do not focus on the vision which as I get deeper gets more and more difficult. Eventually I cannot go further and have to stop.  This is done in a comfortable recliner. Sometimes I recline other times I sit up. It depends on how tired I am. I'll lay back if I feel restles and if I'm sleepy I will sit up so I don't doze off. I'll post a full account of this today because the method is different than most people use.

The thing is that when the fear hits we have to stop.  Repeated exposure to the area will calm the fear down and I eventually get past it.

Most energies have an opposing energy, and the opposite of fear, is love.

Emotion is energy.

Learn to generate love in your heart space, learn how to expand this energy around you, and how to send it
to the source of the fear. It may help to think about someone or something, maybe even a pet, that you really
love deeply, and then expand this love all around you like a wide cocoon of radiant energy.

Send this energy to the blackness that comes at you, and watch it gradually melt away and depart from you.
Your love cannot hurt the blackness, don't intend to destroy it or anything like that, it will just force it to not
be anywhere near you. Darkness and fear can't exist when there is too much Light, and the energy of love is
bright like the sun.

This is how I've ended many negative experiences both inside and outside of my body.
