On a sunny day
When the sky was blue
I sat on a bench
And thought of you
Where are you now?
What do you do?

When the clouds were white
I lay on the grass
And hoped you were all right
Still enjoying the moon?
Bathing in its light?

When all was good
I stood by the flowers
And wished you'd understood
I'd told you all I knew
As much as I could

On a sunny day
When the sky was blue
I sat on a bench
And thought of you
