Yeah, it must be a local problem (or in your pc). In my home i have no problems connecting. You must see if the problem it is only with Astral Pulse Forum or with others sites.
Maybe you could go to AP in other computer, maybe one in a library or in a school, and check if the problem steel exist.
Pshh.... normal of 2 seconds...
It takes me a good 30-60 second to load a single page. Gotta love dialup in rural areas.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is expierencing a really bad time here on AP... Now, what I mean by that is you'd never guess I have cable how long it is taking for me to open a page! You'd think have 56k connection for how long it is taking me! Usually, I can click on a link and view everything in like two seconds! But today... it's taking me forever!
There must be a router down over in Australia or something because the last 4 hops on my tracert keep timing out! Bah! I hate it when that happens!
Ok, I'm finished venting about how slow the site is today.
