Title: Browser bugs.
Post by: karnautrahl on January 08, 2005, 07:51:21
2 Weeks ago Internet Explorer would not find these pages. Firefox would. Only this site caused the problem. So ok I used my firefox, I prefer it anyway.
Now Firefox is getting
[quot]Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Request header field is missing colon separator.

05186637%3B%7D

Apache/1.3.33 Server at sls-eb9p5 Port 80[/quote]
But Internet Explorer is now working fine.
Again it ONLY this forum, no other webpages or forums are doing this? Is there any explanation? I am virus scanning as I type here. But for just this site to do it seems a bit specific. And hugely annoying.

Are you sure it's not just a temporary bug...?
How long (how many times) did you try Firefox and got this error...?
Anyway, it looks more like a temporary server-side error.
Or do you use any resident program that is supposed to filter web access; like ad-watch, or a popup-blocking, etc...?
