Greetings!

I am not sure why you are getting a blank page, but it is not usual and has never been reported before.

I can say that that there is a major upgrade in the works, which, if successful will provide many enhancements and fixes.

There are hundreds of thousands of lines of extremely complex code that drive these forums to a big SQL Server database - a dot or comma out of position could, and does, cause everything to crash - so I have to make sure it is right.

I do appreciate all reports, and you all are taken seriously.

As often as half of the time I get redirected to blank pages, too, but I thought nothing could be done about it. Also the pages are taking up to thirty seconds to load sometimes. Then there are times when I just plain can't reach the forums until later in the day. When things are bad, they can be very bad. It doesn't happn every day, but it does get bad once or twice a week. I just thought it was only me.

yah--I know about the code--although why so MUCH code you got, I wonder--my crew is coding our own forums and we got maybe a few thousand [actual] lines of PHP code max.

But, on the creative side--maybe its a cookie issue or a firewall issue??? its often one of the two main culprits of forum probems.

My usual setup is ZoneAlarm Pro, set to max blockage on banners, minimal setting on cookies.
But I have noticed on OUR codes that ZoneAlarmPro is a serious problem causer.

I gotta admit that these are the first forums powered by ASP I've seen.

aaaaaaanyway--I'd be very grateful if you could sort the redirect AFTER the new post or reply is submitted to the very same topic OR to the specific forum page. right now I get a blank page that does nothing.

Coming from the background of multiple PHP/MySQL forum communities, I find this blank-do-nothing-page highly annoying.
