Edit profile and others, not available...??

It's quite funny... I am the only one to read my own message ... nobody read it and sure nobody answered it...

Well I found out by myself that to see the blue bar on the upper left of my windown with the feartures that allow me to edit and change my profile I need to use an older version of netscape. With netscape 3 and 4 it works. And so it was with netscape 5. But we also have the latest version Netscape 7 and with it I cannot see the blue bar... So if you experience the same problem, you will know that it has to do with the browser you use....

It seems that if someone has really a serious problem to report or a bug, there will be none to answer....

I had to download netscape to see if I had the same problem, and well the answer is yes I can access my profile and everything else on the site.  Although, it is much more distorted than when working in Internet Explorer.  I tried Netscape 7.1, so I don't know if that makes any difference.  But for portability across the internet nothing beats Internet Explorer unfortuneatly because most people use it therefore developers test with it the most.  The main problem I have with using netscape on this site is that the blue dropdown menu across the top is not placed properly.  Oh here is the link to thr profile page so that you can get to it.

I have the same problem with Mozilla (Netscape is based on Mozilla)...
The drop-down menus don't work...

The pulldown menus are working a little better now; at least they pulldown  []  But the display is still a mess and if my cursor hover above the first (blank) menu, the other ones won't work anymore...

As has already been pointed out, all development work these days is for Internet Explorer. Only 5% or so of people still use Netscape for whatever reasons, and considering Internet Explorer is free with Windows and freely downloadable, there really is no need to use Netscape at all. Netscape seems to have bugs including the way it handles Javascript which the drop down menus are developed with.

From my point of view all I can do is to suggest you use Internet Explorer for the forums, or use an earlier version of Netscape which might work.

Mozilla is free too, and is the browser who follows the best the official W3C recommendations.  Internet Explorer is the "standard" because of microsoft strong-arm; but it does not follow the standards!  Internet Explorer is Evil!!!  Microsoft is evil!!! [][]  I will stay with Mozilla, I trust it, you can use tabs, you can prevent nasty popups/resizes, filter cookies/images...  No big deal, I don't care about the pulldown menus anyway.  Opera is nice too.  Apple's Safari too. [|)]

I am not sure if it is since I have a new version of netscape, but I notice that when I access the astral pulse forum main page the topics on the upper left where I could click on profile (and edit and change profile) have dissapeared!

I am unable to edit my profile...

Is it possible to have just a simple link to reach that? like all
the link to the forums? I really don't understand what happened to the list of topics that used to be in the upper left corner, under the Astral Pulse logo,.... magic...

Any help?
