I almost can't run this on my computer...

Hello all,

I just joined this site a few days ago, and fell in love with it. Brilliant design, very smooth and simple and loaded very quickly. I came onto the group just now, and I almost can't run it.

It doesn't run at all in Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. I'm using an alternate browser called iCab, which tends to crash halfway through surfing, but is working OK at this moment. It's also running _very_ slow, almost to the point where I can't navigate it.

Are these changes permanent? If so, is it possible to have two versions of the site: One for slower systems, and one for fast? I am running Macintosh OS 9.1 on an iMac, with a cable modem.  I think someone with anything slower will not be able to run it at all.

Please consider this, as I would not like to leave you guys!!!
