Yet you can create a new topic which basically uses the same mechanism. Odd???
What browser are you using? This site is pretty much tuned to IE, and I know that Opera does some really weird things here.

I am curious are you trying to post in a "locked" topic by any chance?  I have never tried but that might be what happens.  There aren't many around so I doubt it but it never hurts to make sure.

Odd, today I can reply.  I was able to start threads , but then could not reply to it - it wasn't locked.  Seems like all is okay now.  Just one of those strange things I guess.
