I have been trying to register here at Astral Pulse for quite a while now, and was on the brink of completely giving up.
My dominant email address is/was a Hotmail address.
And everytime I registered, and used my Hotmail email address, I received no certification email.
I waited a couple days, then clicked the link pertaining to, "do you need another cert email sent", and I clicked that, and still nothing.
So, I then searched Astral Pulse looking for a direct, emergency contact email that I could use to write to someone in charge, and the only email I could
find was info@astralpulse.com.
I wrote a detailed email explaining everything that was happening, and sent it to "info@astralpulse.com", and that email was returned to me with an
undeliverable error.
So, here I am with my hands tied, no way to contact anyone, and my email is Hotmail.
I create another brand new Hotmail email, re-register again with Astral Pulse, and the exact same thing happened all over again.
I checked all of my SPAM, and/or Junk folders to see if Hotmail was just rejecting the emails from Astral Pulse, but no, there were no emails from
Astral Pulse. All of my normal, everyday mail flow was as normal as usual though.
So, lastly, I created another new email with a totally different service, other than Hotmail.
Registered on Astral Pulse with this new service email, and bang, I immediately get a cert email from Astral Pulse, just as it should be.
I suppose just a heads up, but, there is absolutely no communication between Astral Pulse's servers and Hotmail for some unknown reason.
But, non the less, I am on now, and glad to finally be here.
Hope this helps to find and resolve a possible issue, and if it does, I would surely appreciate someone letting me know that the problem has been
remedied, because I sure would like to go back to my initial Hotmail account.

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse bigzeke. I am sorry to hear all the problems you had getting here but I am sure that all of your efforts will be payed off with valuable info in the end. Yea that happened to me as well I just made a gmail and pow got it in a second

I wouldn't be all too surprised if it's due to the fact that spammers use hotmail quite often to create an email address to use with forum spam.
We'll get to the bottom of it. :)

chose Astral Pulse over other OBE forums.
I have skimmed over quite a few other forums, but found that, Astral Pulse seemed to offer the most compassionate, encouraging,
and experienced education for those of us that just can't seem to, ..."get out".

hotmail is one of the poorest free email services I know.
I stopped using hotmail when some friends of mine showed me
what a random event it was that _any_ mail arrived at
hotmail at all.
There are plenty of other much better free mail services,
yahoo is one of the most reliable.
Oh God I'm glad I looked up this section of the message board! I had the same problem... it surely wasn't the best time, it ticked me off quite a bit... I created a gmail and now I am very happy to join the Astral Pulse Forums! :)
