Not sure where to put this post does anyone have any idea why every single time I try to upload an avatar or a picture of me it says that my file isnt writeable?
I think that's a problem for everyone. The solution is to upload the image to an image hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack and link to it.

Yup, you can't upload avatars. As is mentioned, you have to either host it yourself and link to that... or upload it somewhere else and link to that. :)
