What is sticky Post/Topic?

i think its something moderators can do.. they can make a topic a 'sticky' so that it stays at the top of the board.

They are topics that Robert Bruce/Administrators/Moderators deem important or useful, so in order to keep them in the public eye, they are stuck to the first page of the forum.

they are topics that are very addicting.  sometimes someone comes up w/ a topic that is so good that people won't stop posting replies.  robert bruce didn't want to use the term 'addicting topics' because he felt it would facilitate drug activity.  one of the moderators came up w/ the term 'sticky topic/post' instead.  robert feels it helps fight the war on drugs.  i'd have to agree.
