Nothing unusual here. My firewall has been relatively quiet and this is with having cable internet. Only 15 intrusion attempts since the last reboot, and the last one was a couple days ago.
mustard seed, it sounds like your computer has been taken over by someone else who is using some sort of trojan program.
i suggest you get good antivirus software and run it. next, turn off your internet connection whenever you aren't using it, even if that means unplugging a cable modem. thirdly, go talk to a professional.

That has to be happening at your end.
When you are entering a new message to the Astral Pulse from your browser, the browser page is at that time local to you - i.e. held in your browser window on your PC. It is not until you hit "Post New Reply" that your browser transmits the message to the server, where it is then stored in the database and displayed for all to read.
I would strongly suggest that you obtain a virus scanner and scan your PC for virii and trojans.
I would recommend "Sysclean" from Trend Micro - one of the leading virus scanning companies. Sysclean is absolutely free and uses the same virus technology and definition files as their commercial products:
