It has to do with the number of posts you post.

As Lighthouse pointed out, stars of different colors appear after certain numbers of posts. For example, silver member at 100, gold at 500 and premier at 1000. There are no extraordinary privileges based on the number of posts, or rankings, if you will.

Lastly, the moderators serve at the request of the admninistrator, Adrian. The decision to select a moderator ultimately will rest with the forum administrator.

I'm probably just blind and stupid, but what are the conditions for becoming each different type of member (starting member, gold member, premier member, moderator, et cetera)? Also, are there privelages for each type/rank of member? Thanks.
