Thanks for your comments on the speed.
I haven't noticed much difference here - but my home connection is xDSL so maybe I wouldn't![]("http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif")
The speed difference won't be due to graphics, but as you suggest, the new features. There is, what is now, a huge SQL Server database that drives this, and everything you see is generated dynamically on the fly - there are no static HTML pages at all.
It might get quicker as your browser caches them - but we are in unknown territory here. The new features will certainly come in useful for the most part, we will have to decide later.

I use a 56K modem as well, combine that with an old 100MHZ Pentium (yea they still are out there;) with zilch space left on the hard drive, and what you get after the new features added is = "slowicity"... ;) and when I try to change fourm at the bottom where it sais "jump to" (I believe) nothing happens anymore, has this something to do with my puter or is it "universal"?
Otherwise, it looks good, but... well, at least for me with an stoneage puter it isn´t more user friendly - sad to say the contrary.
But hey, if it works better for the majority then keep it going!!

I love the new format, but it's seems to load MUCH slower than the old one. At school I am on with a high speed connection so it doesn't make much of a difference, but at home I use a 56k modem and it seems to take quite a bit of time to load the pages. Will it speed up with time or do we have to sacrifice a little bit of upload speed the all of the wonderful new features? No biggie, but just thought you might want to know incase you only use high speed and don't know how it loads with a 56K.
