Hello! After doing my research on the damages that fluoride can have on the body and my spirituality, I have decided to stop using fluoride in my oral care.
I was previously using fluoride toothpaste, dental floss, Prevident 5000 (a dentist prescribed nightly fluoride paste), and fluoride mouthwash every day by my dentists recommendation. The mass of fluoride "protection" did nothing to help my teeth and my teeth started to mottle a little and I noticed a pit form on one of my teeth so 2 weeks ago I ceased the use of fluoride completely (I have a water filter as well). I found a great fluoride-free toothpaste at my local Walmart called "Tom's" made with natural ingredients, and instead of using mouthwash I started using baking soda and warm water as a rinse to raise the pH of my mouth to keep bacteria out. On top of that I do oil pulling with coconut oil about every day to kill bacteria.

My teeth are becoming whiter and my mouth overall feels so much better!

Something I have noticed though is that my mind and memory started to become a little more fuzzy when I ceased fluoride use and I'm having frequent moments where I forget what I am supposed to do before I do it. I am also noticing slight headaches.

From what I have heard is that the fluoride calcification on the pineal gland and other parts of the body starts to break away when you quit fluoride. Could the fluoride floating around inside of me be causing the headaches and mind/memory issues? How does the fluoride escape the body?

Thank you!

I am a Christian and I believe that creatures and humans can change over time. It's funny because if we look at our parents why is it that we look similar? Traits are carried along and we are constantly evolving because of this. That was a dumb question to ask in the first vid. It would take WAAAAYYY longer for the bacteria to turn into bipeds let alone humans but it could happen in the right environment over time. I'm not even going to go there with the second vid for the sake of keeping the peace although she presented the question with very little ground to defend on. I believe in evolution and creation in the ways of God planting the seeds of life. However, we will not know the full every-detail story until we have passed on. I do not believe this thread has been made with good intention. Attempting to shoot down someones personal beliefs is not right.

Last night I recall having a lot of crazy dreams that all seemed to take place in my bedroom as if I couldn't come out but the dreams came in. But one of them for some reason was about the top 5 haunted houses and the imagery played in my mind was shown like a TV show (while I knew I was in my room and I don't ever use the TV). When it got to number 1 I woke up to the sensations and feelings of energy that I normally feel before getting close to the point of phasing, so I thought..

The covers were over my head and I saw them for a second remove themselves on their own from my face as if a ghost was doing it (I saw 2 shadow figure outlines for a split second then they disappeared) and I could feel the coolness of the air I was shocked for a moment but I let it run it's course. I closed my eyes again and my upper body sat up like it was floating and did a rotational motion as if I was using an invisible hula hoop then my body floated slowly off the right edge of my bed and towards the ground. I noticed my feet were still attached to my physical feet and I snapped back to my body. I wasn't ready to call it quits so I concentrated again with my eyes closed, raised up, did the "hula hoop" thing, and separated to end up flat on my butt on the carpet. My room was the same except it was daytime and I had a giant window on the wall to the left of my bed (when normally I have two windows and a dresser). I looked outside and I saw a beautiful flat green plain with mountains lining the horizon. I was happy. Then I woke up and it was dark I hopped out of bed and started to make funny faces in the mirror, threw around an oddly placed baby doll, and told my dad about the experience (Can you tell that part was a dream?  ) Then I woke up for real and thought "Whoa" I looked at the clock and it was 3:47am.

The whole experience was lightly hazy but I didn't necessarily feel in control I did not think to ask for clarity or control either (I've been reading William Buhlman's work).

I just can't figure out if that AP-like experience was the real deal or not because I haven't experienced a full OOBE yet. Would these "wake up" scenarios be classified as False Awakenings? They all seemed real at first because I was in my room during all of it and I almost had a full sense of touch.

I hate it, when I'm reminded that I have accounts on dead Internet forums or accounts on dead social networking sites like Bebo and MySpace with friends that I have long forgotten and that have long forgotten me, I find myself in an emotionally light-headed state of both emptiness and confusion. I'm always trying to remove memories of the past, even if it was memories of the middle of December from people I still talk to. When I go through something eventful I always make a major change in my lifestyle or home to remove myself from memories of such incident or event; like breaking up with my girlfriend of two years, or graduating with my foundation degree.

I'm starting to feel uncomfortable using this computer as the last time it was formatted was long before I started doing my Game Design BTEC back in 2009.

I'm trying to move forward as much as possible, with my interest in writing and looking forward to this job I have a good chance of getting, but I seem to be someone who absolutely despises bringing himself back into his younger self.

I'm a believer in the law of attraction and I'm entirely convinced it the personality and curiosity I had in my youth that lead me becoming potential friends with people. But because I'm so much different now, not being into Anime communities, not being interested to further my understanding of lucid dreaming, losing my interest altogether in Web Design/Coding, my curiosity and child-like self has faded and this is what has ultimately attracted me into this lonely nostalgic feeling all the time.

Anyone else felt anything similar. :(

There is no shame in regaining an interest from your past whether it's goofy or out of the ordinary (That is as long as it's not a self-destructive habit). What makes us unique is how we act and what kind of things we like. I believe that this world is in desperate need of youthful people. Many people decide to "grow up" with the wrong definition for the wrong reasons. Society is like a spiders web, the majority of people just live their lives until one day they find themselves trapped and held down by the expectations and standards of said society. Because of this, the majority become unhappy that they can no longer live the "curiosity and child-like self" of adventure and bountiful opportunity that they miss from thier youth. The truth is, you don't have to be a part of that web. No one should live in shame that they were once a biological youth. You can be any age and live youthful and happy. Word of advice: Take the time to assess the things that you are afraid of remembering and really think about them. After that do what truly makes you happy. Also if you are truly interested in writing and looking forward to that job you mentioned then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Just my 2-cents.

I have noticed a lot of users hide their true identity and information of where they live, what they do, etc. whether part of this forum or not. I understand some reason to separate your web identity from your true identity but in the case of astral travelers is there any reason to take extra caution? I mean other then the likelyhood that people will think we are nuts is there anyone or anything out there to crack down on astral travelers to keep us from spreading the news or from becoming to powerful? I haven't had my first full OOBE yet but I believe this could be a critical note for when I really get into it and to others as well.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Almost had it.
December 29, 2012, 14:15:16
I woke up at 11am this morning after a night of multiple dreams and I could hear my parents talking with the tv on in the living room. I just layed there in bed for a moment and comfortably closed my eyes before thinking about getting up and I suddenly felt the familiar sensation of my body sinking into my bed, the feeling of something heavy and invisible pushing me down, and the feeling of my head starting to inflate like a balloon was inside. The natural ringing of my ears became increasingly loud.It seemed as if I couldn't move (SP?) so I set my mind to go OOB. I felt a strange powerful sensation about my body and even though I knew my eyes were closed for sure I could see and feel my arms grasping towards the side of my queen sized bed as I felt like I was being resisted by magnetism back to my resting position. I looked over the edge and gazed at the carpet then BOOM! just like that I opened my eyes and found myself on my back looking at the cieling. I immediatly reached to my journal and started to write everything down. I believe this is my closest experience to going oob. The wierd thing about it though is that I could hear my parents and the tv while doing the attempt. I guess it doesnt have to be perfectly quiet to AP? :-o

I have heard of these things and I am yet to have a successful OOBE. A few questions: What exactly are they? Who or what is in charge of appointing them? What kind of advancement/reward is given for solving/completing them? Does solving/completing them make it easier to remember the OOBE or make it easier to have an OOBE? Thank you for your responses.  :-D

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Getting Close?
December 23, 2012, 13:38:56
Last night I went to bed with the intent of going OOB just as I have in the past week and a half that I started trying. I lay down thinking that I'll sleep for an hour then wake up and attempt to go OOB (Normally I've been trying to go straight from being awake). I'm in a comfortable position while laying on my back, legs straight (Cat sitting across calves), with my arms and palms facing up at about a 45 degree angle from my body. Roughly 10 minutes in with my eyes closed I start to feel a tingling sensation that starts in my upper back which shoots out in a firework pattern and descends along my body down to my feet. I only started noticing this about a week ago after getting interested in OOBE while I lay down. This sensation becomes regular about every 10 seconds and it happens around 10 times. Suddenly like a switch the darkness behind my eyelids become richer. My eyelids start to spas/twitch rapidly and my heart beat becomes faster and noticibly stronger. At this point I start to feel my body sink into the bed and I try to "roll out" but BAM just like that it all stops and returns to normal :P I know I was close but I guess I tried to get out early? Also does anyone else feel that 'fireworks-like' tingling sensation?

I have been trying a plethora of different methods since last week in attempt to reach my first OOBE. I have experimented a little through use in Binaural Beats in my attempts but I am wondering what the diference is between them and Isochronic Tones. What are the pros and cons of the two? Do we tend to have more success with one or the other? I'm hoping someone could give me a link as well to a good Beat/Tone that has good review. To my understanding I realize that the purpose of the beats/tones is not to do all the work of the AP process but aid in reaching the focused relaxed state. Thank You  :-)

Thank you all for your honest and well thought out replies. I feel like I am getting very helpful information through this forum that will aid me as I come closer to my first AP experience. These topics are becoming more and more real and believable to me and I appreciate it!

I see. Then what do the entities that appear (Good/Bad) during OOB that are not created by the mind do? Do they have lives like you and me or are they just 'there'? I also assume there are many types of entities? Can you talk/reason/hang out with them? Do they leave traces in the physical world/can we sense them?

Welcome to Book Reviews! / Book for Beginners?
December 15, 2012, 12:31:53
Hello, I just recently got interested in Astral Projection. I have tried to AP within these past 4 nights and I seem to be having trouble getting into/understanding the vibrational state and sleep paralysis. I want to buy 1 book (I'm a minimalist.) that will help me achieve AP. I found 'Mastering Astral Projection: 90-day Guide to Out-of-Body Experience' by Robert Bruce and Brian Mercer online and I can get it on amazon new for $15.99. Is this a reccomended book for success starting at the zero experience level? Could I possibly have my first AP experience within 30 days or is it too much reading? Also for those that have read it what kind of format is it in? How many pages is it (and the print size)? Is it an easy read with definitions or are there too many technical terms? Any other info you could give me or even an additional recommendation on a straight forward book would be appreciated. Thank you.

So do they just appear during SP? Or while astral projected too?

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Dark Entities?
December 14, 2012, 22:49:10
Hello, I just recently got interested in Astral Projection a few days ago and I am yet to do it successfully. In the meantime I have heard of these 'Dark Entities' and it would be nice to have some info on the topic before I make the jump to the astral plane. I have a few questions:

Why do they exist?

Where do they come from? Or are they just a mere manifestation of the mind?

Are they living things? Or just ideas?

I know they cannot hurt us in any way other than the surprise factor but can we in some form do battle with and/or vanquish them?

If you were to defeat one/send it away is it gone for good or can it come back?

If you were to make one manifest could someone else in the astral plane see it? Additionally, could they harm friendly entities?

Any other info or a linked read up would be nice. Thank you  :-D

Hello I am Chase and this is my first post  :-)  Last night was my first attempt at Astral Projection. After reading up a little and becoming interested in the topic it was eventually 11pm and time for bed. I layed down and prayed silently but with everything I had asking God for help to reach success in AP. I was laying in bed doing deep breaths and muscle tension/relaxation and I blanked out for a moment. I regained consciousness but I felt different. The black behind my eyelids was intensly dark and my body soon after started shaking like crazy! I was shaking almost as if I was cold but more intensly so. My eye lids started to twitch in the same way I have experienced while attempting to speak in tongues (Christian Term) a couple times before. My heart at the same time was pounding more than I ever have experienced in my life to the point that I could audibly hear the *Lub-Dub*. One other thing I noticed was that my body felt really loose and comfortable even though I started to lightly sweat (From the shaking I assume). My body especially my arms and legs almost felt as if they were becoming wider or like it could have been my astral body sinking at the same time as I could feel my body laying in bed. The shaking seemed to last about 10-15 minutes and my clock was nearing midnight. I could move my body and look around at the same time so I didn't have sleep paralysis and I think I tried too hard to hop out as my astral self because I moved my normal hands. The sensations slowed down and faded to normal smoothly and I experienced a very light headache afterwards. My question is whether this sounds like the onset of AP? Does the shaking sound like the vibration stage that I read about online? If so what should I do next time this happens? Im going to try to make this happen again tonight. Thank you!
