Yup, that's astral sight for sure. I have experiences like this and just wait until you are walking around and suddenly your astral sight takes a jump into the next room.

That was a good phasing explanation... very clear and descriptive. It's good to hear about it from a 1st-generation Frank-follower (FGFF - I just coined that :) ). Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Stookie, I hope this helps someone to phase for their first time. Frank was the best and I owe him so much since he made the phasing technique that works, and works well for a lot of people.

I have come up against several problem areas while phasing or trying to… this is some of them.

The first I have always had a difficult time reading text while I am mentally out of body, phasing. Often times I find myself in front of a computer screen or have been shown a book with a ton of writing on the pages, but when I try look directly at the pages and text the letters and words just seem to scramble. This was so frustrating, and for a long time I tried a number of different solutions. And years have gone by trying to find an answer. But slowly I learned if I didn’t look directly at the text and I just let my mind do the work, the words pop into my head like I was reading the text. So infact my mind was reading the text without so much as looking directly at the text.

Ten years later, and I still have a difficult time but am much better at reading now. I guess it just takes lots of practice.

Second, There are times when I think I am back in my physical body, and I start toget up out of bed and found out I was still Aping; And I swear I am awake and back in my body. And I tried numerous times to go back into my body and stir fully conscious awake and found myself still Aping. This happens over and over until I finally make it back in my physical,… slowly… regain consciousness and open my eyes. It’s like I get stuck Aping.  This is just something that happens, and I just chalk it up as one of the strange things that happen while out of body. Many, many strange things happen.

Another strange thing is, after 6 months of practicing phasing, I came into an active area in my brain , I guess, where after waking up fully conscious after phasing, I would open my eyes and see the most strangest things. I came to apoint where I could see astral things while awake and they are real moving objects floating right above me.

I shouldn't say objects because I only saw one object during each time. This object is as  physically real as you or me and moving, but they are always see through, has the most brilliant beautiful colors.  For example, the first time this happened I opened my eyes and there was this thing that looked like a plump lotus flower. And this flower was the most beautiful shade or red and the petals were flowing as if it was underwater. And I could see right through it. I got up my nerve and swish my fingers right in the middle and it seemed to pass through the object as if a knife through butter. And the lines my fingers left behind soon mended so the lotus flower became whole again. It slowly faded away after awhile.

Then one time I woke up from sleeping to see a sphere object floating about 2 feet above me. It was see through like the lotus flower and that vanished to be replaced by the top part of a being. I call this the top part of an alien because that is what he looked like. No alien I ever seen before either. I could see my bedroom dresser right through him and he was a greyish blue the same color as the sphere. And he looked like he was pressing somekind of buttons. There is more to this but this is where it gets really strange. And I might post it if anyone wants to know.

Another problem area I have confronted with has to do with a book.  For a couple months everytime I tried to phase I ended up staring at an open book with pages of text right in front of my face. This wasn't an earthly book, but a book someone from beyond placed in front of me. This was rather frustrating because what I described with the reading problem I have while phasing. I got stuck in this loop where this book would always appear.  After a couple of months of this, I stopped phasing for awhile. That seemed to break the book loop.

Another strange thing, this isn't so much a problem but it was strange.  One time I phased right into a lady I guess in the astral. But I found myself right in her body. I could hear her talking to her uncle, could see everything she saw and it was like I was stuck in her body. I couldn't read her mind or anything and at one point she even looked in the mirror and I saw the reflection of her. Strange.

But has anyone heard or experienced problems and strangeness such as this before while trying to phase or AP? I hate to think I am the only one having big strangeness and problems like this. I really wish Frank was with us, he has the most awesome answers to just about anything connected to phasing.

What I have experimented with while floating in the dark void.

I have tried a number of things while in the void.  And most of them ended up causing problems but hey, it was fun to try.

The clock.... While floating in the void, I sometimes wondered what time it was. And while thinking this a digital clock pops into view. And this clock always said some approximate time, but after stirring myself back to my body I open my eyes and look at the clock and the time is hardly ever correct. And the only answer I came up with is, the next dimension is a place where time has no meaning and while floating in the void, I am somewhere inbetween or in the next dimensional state.

The notebook...   There are times where I am phasing and wished I had a notebook to write down information. And a notebook pops up and I mentally think of writing and writing goes on the pages, but later on I try to recall that notebook and the pages come up blank.

The heater...  I often wondered if external objects can effect my consciousness while phasing, so I set up a portable heater that blew hot air onto my face and head and went through the phasing sequence. I ended up phasing and looking right at the thermostat in a hallway in the astral. And I felt like I was sweating.  Kind of strange, but external things can effect your experience in the astral.

Has anyone else performed experiments while trying to phase or AP?

This is dedicated to the late most dedicated astral phasing mentor and teacher Frank Kepple. So I wanted to simplify the sequence that Frank has described for phasing and APing, and I added a little of what I do also.

Basically, you want to go through the same sequence you go through every time you go to sleep, no different except you are keeping your mind from slipping into unconsciousness.

First you find a place that is comfortable preferably your nice warm comforting bed. While lying in bed, cover yourself up with blankets. Now totally relax your body and envision your body is so relaxed and comfortable you are just sinking in the mattress. You are just so relaxed from such comfort you think nothing could ever feel so nice. Feel the blankets cradle your body.  Feel the sensations of warmth, softness, and security. Just  Relax.

Take as much time as you like in this state.  Slowly take your attention inward and away from your body. Set your attention to your mind and relax.

Feel the thick, dark void inside your head and just sink in that feeling and nothing else. Quieting the mind is not to difficult, just empty the mind of any thoughts like your mind is a sanctuary that words can not come into. And if your mind still has random thoughts flashing through, then just gently push them away and clear your mind once again. I like to think clearing the mind like dusting out the cobwebs and thoughts and words are the cobwebs and dust. Clearing the thoughts away quietly and calmly.

Now, the trick is not to think what is happening like the process to phasing is a good TV show becoming excited when something occurs, but just let your mind sink in the black void. And after awhile you might to see sparks of color, then blackness. Then after some time you might see shapes but don't concentrate or get excited, no emotions, just relax. If you have an emotion, just gently sweep it away.

Sometimes I see 3-D shapes rotating on an axis, anything goes. Let your mind relax.  And there is a point when the blackness suddenly changes from a wall of blackness and into a limitless void, almost like you are floating in space without the bright burning stars. Don't worry if you don't sense this, I only saw this occur two times out of the thousand times doing this.

And now any number of things can happen. You can hear voices, bangs, feel fingers, hear someone calling your name, feel like you are falling similar to an elevator dropping or feel an uplift feeling. Just do not bring any attention or emotion when any of this happens just keep floating quietly content to do nothing but feel how wonderfully safe and secure you are.

Frank mentioned while floating in the void, you can quietly think of a song you want to hear and you might find yourself listening to this music.

This is when, if it's going to happen, the mind becomes so close to sleep you start flashing into scenes as if a TV show is playing in your mind. But don't let your mind sink to far into sleep. You might see faces, scenes, find yourself flying close to the ground. Or... you might be surprised to find yourself floating in another room in your house.

During the first times I phased, I kept floating in my living room staring at the clock on the wall within 5 inches of it. And other times I found my mind floating in front of the computer screen. Anything can happen.  I also have interactions with others at this time. Ghosts, not bad spirits.    I find these people who passed away only want to convey messages to you in some manor.  One time a man (spirit) pulled out his wallet and proudly started showing me pictures of his family,.... This is Emily,... oh and this is Maryann, Jason, and Mike....
If you come across spirits and you do not want them around just simply pull back your consciousness back to your body.

Now, during the time I spend floating in the void, if I want to travel somewhere on the Earthly realm, I softly picture a familiar land mark or picture the destination I want to go and before I know it I am flying to that place or just find myself there. Say I wanted to see Area 51, I simply picture the notorious Area 51 sign and then the rest happens.

If you want to go into the astral, Frank talked about stepping into a cinema screen and into the astral. I usually just found myself there.

Now, this whole phasing sequence does take practice. I practiced 6 months to become proficient at initiated phasing where I can picture a place, land mark and travel there. It takes lots of time,  and lots of wonderful, caring patience with yourself. And whatever you do, don't fight against yourself or punish yourself because you come up to a stopping point. I can't tell you how many times I stayed floating in the void and nothing ever happens. That is fine, not everytime is a success just flow with your development. Be content to further along at the speed your unconscious spirit body, and your mind decides to take.

This is the easiest I know how to phase or AP.

I sent Adrian and email to find out what happened to Frank. But he might not know either. Does anyone know if Adrian has been active lately, I have not visited astral pulse for over a year, my bad I know. If I remember correctly, Frank had to leave due to his health, and he had a webpage on the net I can't find anylonger.

I am missing him dearly. He was right there, just a post away during the first times I found my mind floating in my livingroom staring at the clock on the wall while the physical body asleep upstairs. He could answer the reason  see a pair of fakey plastic pants floating in the middle of a normal looking kitchen in the astral. He explained how the mind can flint and make strange objects when the concentration begins to go. Never did he find anyone's questions strange and he had such a passion to help others.

I will never forget how he gave us all a launching point to limitless traveling in the quiet, secret places we choose to go. Travel to anywhere, limitless.  I hope to see you in the astral myfriend. Fly in peace...

I asked the same question in the consciousness section since it was only fitting since Frank was so active in that area. What happened to him?

That Frank has passed away,... When did he die? I know he was sick awhile ago but others and myself were taught by Frank when he first started the thread on mental phasing all those years ago in 2002. I can't tell you the doors he opened up for me in the mental phasing. MASH and many others, we all learned from Frank and eachother back in those pioneer days...  Frank is traveling free and unbound now.  Bless You Frank for all your lifechanging advice my friend...

Hi Alfera,

That could be the problem but I have to confess I haven't really done to much energy raising for a looong time and am rusty at it.  But I'll add it to my training!

Thank You!

Hi all,

It's been a looong time since I tried phasing again.  I used to be pretty good getting to the astral plane but most of the time when I stepped into the cinema screen I'd only be there for a few minutes and then I'd snap back into the void.  I was wondering if anyone might know why I am snapping back and how to stay in the astral for a longer time?

Thank you!

Quote"WHAT'S THAT, WHAT'S THAT!!!!!!" as I realise I'm looking at the inside of my car, in full technicolour 3D.

Blam, the inside of my car disappears.

"Drat."

I can't count how many times I've been through the same things that you are experiencing.  Sometimes I'd find myself all of a sudden flying close to the road surface instead of inside a car.  After a while I decided to experiement  with different ideas that I could use this state to go to planned areas I wanted to go to. I found that  right before I find myself flashing to a place like the inside of my car, I'd think of a trigger sign of where ever I wanted to go to.  Say I wanted to go to Stone Henge.  I'd think of a pillar or a circle of pillars and try to visiually see in my mind a pillar whatever I was thinking of.  And then after a minute or two I'd find myself at this place or flying to reach stonehenge.  Most of the time this technique worked but sometimes it didn't.

If I wanted to go to a building, I"d think of a sign that's associated with that building.  It's lot of fun to practice this.

Good Luck!

The best I can give and that I've learned over the years is not to complicate things.  Make every technique as simple as possible because you need to save as much energy as you can.
#14
Well, obe's have changed my mind on a lot of subjects.  I'm always breath taken by all the different spiritual things you can see and experience.   It has blown my mind and taught me patience.  It's been a wild ride.
#15
Please don't worry so much.  Energy is important but just because someone doesn't experience the vibes doesn't mean they are not producing energy.  I think the vibes are an effect of energy raising, but some people get the vibes , some don't. But you are still producing energy eventhough you don't feel any vibes.
I've projected many times and I do not get  the vibes.

Also another point,   Practicing.... Practicing is so important because it takes time to work and build up your mind and spirit.  Just like when a person tries to build muscles , it takes time and commitment to develop muscles, so does trying to project.  It takes time and patience and most of all it is fun.  It's fun to practice and learn and have experiences of your own through practice.
We are there for you  so don't get discouraged ok?
#16
Hey, I agree .....taking a nap is one of the best ways to project, just don't go all the way asleep!

Hi and hello!  Welcome to Astral Pulse Teomim!    :D  Of course we are ready for you so go ahead and say your piece in AP.  I haven't been here for a while and just came back to AP so don't worry about being new, ok?

Hi, I don't really get vibrations either, not anymore.  And when I used to get them it was very little, not like bone jaring ones that other people have had.  If you do not have vibrations that is ok!  Projection isn't a cake recipe that you have to follow and have success with each ingrediant down the list.  You might end up just going from body asleep/ mind awake directly to projection and no other progression along the way.
I wouldn't worry so much about vibrations and just relax.  Get really close to sleep where your incoherant to anything or anyone around you.  Feel really relaxed like you are sinking down into your bed, relaxed and warm and content so relaxed you feel like you could melt right into your mattress.  Get closer, closer to sleep and keep your mind just awake right above the sleep level.  You may see things along the way like the 3rd eye opening and astral site but still be in your body. This is a success too.  Anything new you experience is a success.  Maybe you hear a voice that isn't yours, thats a success.

Since we can have an OBE in the RTZ, is it possible to go to the RTZ while phasing?

I have a lot of experiences where I am in different parts of my house (living room, hallway). But there is a catch to this, when I project I am forever under guide (control?).   I am shown parts of my house as a lesson to be learned and am shown a book where I read the first couple of sentence and the book is taken away.  The sentences relate back to the area just viewed.  This is maddening because every time I project it is always in a lesson.   I can never go out and explore.

I wasn't going to ask this here but since it relates to the phasing question, here it goes:

Does anyone find guides very sensitive where if you accidentally offended them that they wouldn't come back to you?  I have asked her to let me have a little fun along with the lessons but it doesn't seem to be happening.

I would love to read your responses.

Appreciatively,

Tracy

When phasing into the Astral, since we use our minds and not our spiritual bodies, do we still have an actual body form of some kind or are we just points of consciousness?

Say a person finds him/her self holding a newspaper with their hands in the Astral,  do the same rules apply as in an OBE that the arms are supposed to melt if you happen to glance at them?  Or, can they remain intact?

I know these questions are basic, but I would really like your input.

Thanks,

Tracy

Welcome to Dreams! / WILD vs. OBE
September 14, 2002, 22:11:02
Basically can a person use the same technique to produce a  WILD to produce an OBE?   I know a WILD is introducing a dream state without losing consciousness and everyone knows what an OBE is, so this is the problem I am having:

When I have a WILD I am always floating (feeling like an OBE) and it is in a nonreal situation .  Also of course I have total control like in an LD and I feel like I am actually "there".  But lately I have been experiencing a similar situation but instead of being in an unreal situation, I find myself floating in other parts of my house staring at pieces of funiture up close.  I really feel like I am out of body floating but this is short lived because it only lasts for a couple of seconds.   This is very confusing....

So,    HELP!!!!

Welcome to Dreams! / Wanted to share
September 13, 2002, 11:18:22
I had a very strange experience while relaxing so I would like to share it.

I was having dream images floating in and out of conciousness and then  "ZAP"  I am floating in the office of a sitcom I watch on TV  (OK, Radar's office on "MASH").  I knew in my mind it was not real because I am seeing Radar and his Coke bottle glasses busily doing his usual daily chores but it feels like I am actually there floating on the ceiling.  I could even   "will"   myself to float on the floor and look under the desk and see dust and old paper pieces like in an office.   This experience is so weird.   Common sense says this is not possible but here I am floating in this damp dingy office in a typical Mobile Army Hospital.  At the end of this "experience" I "will' myself to come in close and have a good look at Radar.  He turns around and faces me looking dead at my face and then I am back in my normal bedroom awake.

The whole experience felt so real and I could see everything with perfect clarity.

Strange isn't it.

Tracy

Wasn't it Robert who said in his book for people who use drugs and project you mainly are contained to the lower astral levels?  Not the nicest places to project to.

That's a good question, more like an imaginary trip. You are walking and creating an exerience for yourself to "find" your guides. By finding I mean creating your own path, your own way to the cabin.  I mentioned earlier about getting lost, there were times when I came upon a fork in the path and didn't know which way to go or the path stops all together and would have to ask for assistance.

In other times I guess the journey  isn't all imaginary because there were times when I imagined a stream to my left and another time I came upon a  tree that was blocking my path and it just kind of appeared in the way, this would account for the fork in the road to.

Now concerning the trip itself, it can be as short or long as you want, even as short as walking through the woods to the cabin in a meadow. That short. I use the traveling part of the meditation as a time to gather my thoughts and relax before I met my guides for the first time.

And another thing, the cabin can be any building you prefer to meet your guides in. Instead of a cabin, you might like a castle in the hills or what ever.

Best Wishes,

Tracy

There are many, many ways to give guides the opportunity to meet you for the first time.  Believe it or not,  I meet my guides just through a plain ordinary guided meditation.  Basically I used the same technique as Jeff, the only real difference is  I wasn't projecting.  I started out the mediatation by saying "I'm going to go on a meditation journey.

At the end of this journey, I will walk up to a large log cabin and inside this cabin I would like to meet you and you can meet me."
At the end of your journey, through the woods or over a mountain what ever, walk up to the door to the cabin count down from 5 to 1 and open the door.  They many be there or not.  If they aren't, that is just fine.

During the meditation if you start to feel a little lost trying to find the cabin, just ask for help and follow your feet to the cabin.  Or a little helper may present itself for you to follow. Just enjoy the journey and see the sights, a large pond here or birds flying above.   Anyway it is all up to you.

Some people may not agree with me that you can meet guides through a ordinary  meditation, but I did.  All though  I still don't see  great amounts of my guides  when I project, I know they are there for different reasons: watching over us, teaching us and guiding.

Best Wishes,

Tracy
