Good to be here and glad to join.
Perhaps I have the wrong forum, it was a difficult choice between this and lucid dreaming, but I think perhaps I made the right decision.

I have been working with my dreams for quite a while. I have often seen things that happened in the future.

I can tell you that the majority of this dream I had is just dream. Fears and anxiety have plagued me recently causing terrific nightmares lately and for the past three nights have been horrific.

It is nice though that I am aware that they are nightmares and that takes a edge off of my fear, but some of the things I have seen trouble me.

This recent dream, which prompted me to ask for further analysis, involved a new disease that attacked a persons ability to control themselves, causing them to hurt others and kill themselves, it was a man-made disease and could be spread by scratching another person with your fingernails. Thats when I heard the voice of the entity that I normally talk with. He was strong on this subject and his voice had a decance of importance..

"They do these things with one eye open."

I got the impression that the horror of the disease was that you were completely concious of everything you were doing, but unable to stop it and I felt a strong empathy to those suffering from it.

Although, I believe the majority of this dream is just that, dream. There was something very important to the words, "They will do this with one eye open."

Perhaps others could help me interpret this better. Perhaps others have been suffering from nightmares lately. I would be interested in finding out.

I checked into it. Found out that my sister is not only ill, but has been having nightmares as well.

Also noted that I set my mind to do as you said and the night mares stopped, last night. I was grateful.

Most interesting thing though is the mention of past lives... I didn't even make the connection... I don't know why.

About a month ago, I started asking about my past lives. At night, when I meditated I started repeating a question, to tell me what lives I have lived and what would be helpful for me to know..

The result was a terrific nightmare where I did this terrible thing. I mean, this thing. Something I would not even want to ever tell people. I couldn't believe that I could have possibly have committed such a crime. All my life I have assumed that I was the one who was sinned against and I would never do anything bad. To see myself do this thing was... disturbing. I accepted it though and sat on my porch, listening to the birds,  almost crying and trying so hard to accept this darkness about myself. I stopped asking about past lives after that. Although, I realized that I am not perfect and I do bad things too and I can think of some experiences where this came back to me. Now, it seems I understand more, yet it is still disturbing.

I am not sure why I did not make that connection. I am glad that you mentioned it. Thank you.
