Guys, I understand to face my fear. Let me rephrase what I said - I cannot bear the ringing. It is louder than anything I've ever heard in my life. I think that's what's stopping me from trying to do anything past the noise Thanks for the replies.

I wouldn't know - I haven't done chakra work in a long time. I guess what I'm asking is, does this happen to anybody and do you take that opportunity to perhaps astral project? I feel like it's possible but it scares the crap out of me every time.

So sometimes I take a nap in the middle of the day. I fall asleep but, every so often, a part of my brain wakes up and I am conscious. I know what's going on because I've had this happen before - I feel paralyzed and see all black, and I hear a really loud buzzing. If I concentrate on the buzzing, or if I think about nothing at all, the buzzing gets louder and I want to wake up, which usually involves a lot of concentration.

I know plenty about sleep paralysis, however I don't hallucinate at all. I just can't move (I assume, due to most of my brain still being asleep).

Does this happen to anyone? Do you get a SUPER loud buzzing sound?

Robert Bruce has released his 10th anniversary edition of his book Astral Dynamics. My question is: Is this the same book as the original, or is it new content? I've read the original Astral Dynamics and am wondering if it makes sense to buy this new one.

What is the best book I can buy that is about Chakras, and a guide to Chakra meditation?
