 Tom's point about dissipation of the energy makes sense to me regarding the Why of keeping quiet...Isn't that what you're supposed to do when you make a wish and blow out your candles?  Or throw a penny in a fountain?  

 Keeping it to yourself keeps it sacred...rather than secret.

 I've been thinking the same thing regarding if she's wrong...she stated that the reason she wasn't all upset is that she's "made her peace" and that she considered herself dead in a way already; because of her friends and family distancing themselves from her because of all of this.  I mean if she was wrong and all of that was for nothing, she would have to face living a regular lifespan.  
 In a way, I can see how she'd have even more reason to hope she is going to be correct.

I'm listening to Nancy Lieder right now on Coast to Coast...this is so depressing.  Normally I can listen to this topic w/ more than a grain of salt.  I don't know...sshe's literally giving a set date of May 15th 2003 as the day the planet sweeps by us causing all sorts of crap....enought to reduce the world population by 90%.  She says it will be visible to the naked eye 7 weeks prior to that date.  I wonder if she's planning on paying her taxes.

I'm new here, but was wondering if anyone has ever used labradorite as an energy tool?  Its been a favorite of mine, and I have found very little info on it other than its a type of feldspar.

  Regarding places to buy crystals, there are societies and clubs that put on rock and gem shows, which are a great place to buy them at a less expensive price. Some rock shops have flyers by the register, or online web calendars that show where and when they're being held.

This discussion is very interesting.  There was a similar thread relating to this on another board I frequent.  It actually began w/ a woman who was having some bizarre going-on in her basement.  At first, it was just a feeling of dread, but she would also see flashes of light coming from the area when she was upstairs.

 Soon her parrot, or cockatiel(I forget what talking bird it was) was saying things that she never taught it to say...like "Shut up!" or it would start laughing.

 Anyway, she tried doing AW, and found out there were 2 spirits in her house.  A man named Adam, and an Indian who he kept in the basement for killing his family.  Adam would guide the woman's pen although it would use entire notebook, since "his"writing was huge.  Sometimes the parrot would repeat a word that had just been written. Anyway, it was very interesting, but Adam told her she wasn't to go into the basement, because that's where he kept his "prisoner".  You could tell this spirit was from a bygone era, as he would tell her to "Shut up, Woman" many times...

Anyway , being that she lived there, and would need to go into the basement, she left a glass of water for the tortured soul in the basement and felt a little better about doing laundry, or whatever needed doing down there...

After that, she started getting the sleep Paralysis someone -holding her down routine. Like being astrally terrorized to the extent that a trapped soul can accomplish.  Then she went on vacation for a few weeks...came back, and things seemed different.  Nothing had occured since then...
