Hi Nita..
i was confident with my shield with everything. it wasn't a problem until i had to help a friend. the first time i felt it, just the presence itself makes your knees weak, i knew that i was not dealing with a normal neg. my friend had made an evocation summoning a certain type of entity. he did not give the entity the permission to depart and just ended the ritual. so, the portal is still open. i don't know what demon it was, but it just shattered my shield.
to tell you the truth, i nearly died with that thing. the only thing that saved me was the diamond armor mantra. i never used this mantra, since i was so confident that the psi shield will hold entities. much powerful beings seem to be able to rasie and harness more energy than our minds can. all it did was looked at me and poof... my shield was shattered.
your shielding is similiar to mine. i have a shield of thorns at the second line of defence before reaching my inner shield - i actually have 5. yes, i know many people are at the wrong place at the wrong time. some do wrong things at the right time, and some do things which they have no idea what they are actually doing.
Hi Kristen..
what i meant was that if one goes through life's trauma without letting go and not being able to heal themselves - while they still dwell in it, they are vulnerable. i don't mean weak mind as in the literal sense. i mean that they have a weakness that can be used against them for an attack.
as for the sense of masters, i think your looking at a different perspective. a master is one who surpasses the trial. during the learning he is affected by things - when mastership comes, all there is, is bliss and at that point - letting go of the knowledge he had attained: you probably heard the phrase "if i had known what i know today, it wouldn't have taken me 10 years..."
the purpose to the true sense of the word of enlightenment is letting go; thus one is uneffected. i'm not using the word enlightenment here lavishly like how many thinks that it comes when you just simply don't think while meditating - its not that easy at all. many thinks that they have been enlightened - but when it does happen, the ego part of oneself is gone. what happens in enlightenment is when your soul merges with your consciousness. that is the real thing.
first, there is no "try". either you do it or you don't. if you do it, but you failed, it means that you did it but failed. if we learn a certain thing, it doesn't mean that we will stick to that subject. if you study archeology, you don't only study the prehistoric animals. you need to learn how to dig, how to manage the team, how to make contacts with the country you want to examine the fossil..... etc. in the end, you can also conclude that it is part of the study course. its like life, we are born, we learn, we work, then we die. if we go into details you can say that we learn to deal with problems, we learn to stand on our own feet, we know how to deal with sickness, etc. the point is, you can't summarize one subject as to a rule. things come and go. when you take a quest to learn/gain something, its not the goal/destination, but the journey itself.
Cheers!
