Why is that??

To those who say that when you have emotional problems/depression on earth  you will as well  in the afterlife i have a question.Assuming that you are right as depression/biopolar disorder etc.. is caused by our physical brain and chemicals in it(according to doctors at least),once we leave our physical body where is that depression and the chaos in our mind(brain) coming from?

So James S you basically saying that "us" who we are right now,our personallity etc will be stored in a souls memory just like a computer stores files??.Hmm that means that i am gonna be  simply a "file" amongst other "files"  put away like old books are put on a shelf??Not too happy with that idea.If i cannot exist and be unique have my own character,thoughts ,fellings etc, then that means to "i do not exist"!!If your theory is true then what is the soul's personallity/character /identity etc because without it how does it exist and is a self thinking/unique being?

  My physical body won't exist. I will keep my personality, my interests, my thoughts and my way of thinking them. That's what really makes who a person is, anyway.

Of which Life/incarnation will this personality,interests,thoughts be??Unless your talking about multiple personalitty:))

I do not assume that everybody needs to,i know i need to.Whether you re a soul or whateever you need some sort of ID no??Otherwise how s it different from not existing ??

Going by your logic.The person that lives now and wrote that message(YOU) will no longer exist in the afterlife,since you will be your soul again-that had many incarnations.

To those who are pro reincarnation and believe they have been reborn many times i ask the question.What will be your ID in the afterlife.Also when it comes to mediumship can you talk to the ghost of a person from a previous life that now their souls has reincarnated .I quess it would  mean that the soul could give birth to many incarnations each of them unique,but that would mean that those unique parts of the soul do not come back on earth because they ll always  will be its own idI quess it all depends how one defines what soul is,whether it is the real "us" or a part of "us".

I have one problem of understanding something when it comes to reincarnation.If let's say one soul reincarnates into many lifes on earth.Each life will be unique,will have its personality,character -it;s own id.If it is like the thread starter said we are all seprate and unique,then what will be that souls identity after so many lives.It seems as the body is used as  a "device" for some entity.When i die i wanna make sure that i am still ME,the person that lived here on earth.I do not wish to merge with the soul(the real me??) that had many different identities before,because this means that I(ME) will stop to exist.

The goverment did a research on psychis didnt they??Why spend millions of dollars,on satelites,army etc for the manhunt if u can hire a few psychics and save tonsssss of cash.

I disagree that finding your own purpose comes all from within.We are all shaped by what we believe in and the world around us.Most of the time our perception of things/world influences that supposed " point" of life.If someone is a Christian,Muslim etc-a religious person , his life will evolve around those values.Now what if these people somehow found out that their beliefs are not true,would they still believe in it????I doubt it. There- fore their purpose would change. I completely understand where the author of the post is coming from.If u can better understand existence/universe or  look for help from beings that may know more then you,it could help much more  in your choice.
