Now this is the best part:
I willed to float out of my body but felt some resistance at first which was immediately replaced by my sensing the presence of feminine energy which promptly decided to give my energy body an astral massage.

The hands were definitely feminine and tender yet firm in their 'kneading the dough' action across various points on my energy body.
It felt like only one being was present but she must have been crossed with a centipede because she was massaging numerous points at once. LOL

Just recently, I had the full body massage experience for the first time.  I've noticed the kneading feeling before, but it was in a spot or two, and then it would be somewhere else... Recently when it happened though, It was over my entire body simultaneously... Pretty intense feeling!

Peace...

Hello all,

This is my first post in this particular part of the forums.  I've become very interested in AP after a good friend introduced me to them recently, and after relating his success in experimentation, I decided to try for myself.

Not long after that, I experienced my first "vibes".  After doing a progressive muscle relaxation technique, I soon began to feel a slight rocking sensation... It was very comfortable, and felt like my house was on shocks, and was gently bouncing up and down a bit.  I have felt this particular sensation before, and it usually happens when I completely exhausted or sleep deprived.  During the rocking... I started to feel localized pressing on my leg.  This was a completely new sensation.  It actually felt like I was being pushed on by a hand.  It was not unpleasant, but I admit my heart and breath rate increased greatly.  A innate fear response to a completely new sensation, I suppose.  Anyhow, while enjoying this feeling, and trying to calm myself down, I started to see what I took to be hypnogogic imagery.  I felt as though I could see my ceiling (my eyes were closed), and a white light started to slowly dance in one particular spot.  This white light slowly started to turn into a dancing rainbow colored spot, it then faded.  Next, my cell phone started ringing... and although I tried to ignore it, my vision, and gentle vibes slowly started to fade.  I laid there for about 10 minutes waiting for them to come back, but finally gave up, happy to have had my first real results.

Ok... So that was a couple weeks.  The other day, I had my most significant results yet.  I laid down with the intention of practicing for AP, but I soon fell asleep (as is often the case).  I entered a bizarre dream, which ended with me talking to a girl, and helping her get some food from a vending machine.  She had a small dog, and was getting ramen from the machine.  For some reason, I decided to lay down on the ground (on the street, in front of the vending machine), as I felt very drowsy.  Her dog got on my back, and was sleeping on my back.  It felt very comfortable, so I didn't mind.  Then the girl asks if I mind if both her and her dog sit on my back while I sleep, I didn't mind...

Than bam... I awaken and realize I am laying in my bed with a tingly feeling.  Immediately, my entire body is engulfed in what I felt as a localized pressure and release (like a big poke or push) in my first experience... This time it is full body.  It was really great, as it felt like a simultaneous full body massage!  About 20 seconds after, I'm hit with a quite unpleasant noise!  I had read about it, but not yet experienced.  It's very hard to describe, but it hit me full blast, and the moment it did, I was engulfed in a fear response.  The noise came so suddenly and loudly.  And it similar to what others have described as kind of a rushing, or staticy sound.  I told myself to calm down, to relax and ride it out... I was telling myself I knew what was coming next, and that I am an explorer, and this is part of the territory... the noise was subsiding a bit, and then...

My alarm clock went off, and all the sensations slowly started to fade.  I turned off the alarm and recorded the event.

Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone here has the vibes such as I felt?  Like hands pressing and releasing all over your body.  In another forum, people were describing the hands feeling as a scary thing, so I don't know if this is different... this was not scary really, but felt quite sensual.

Anyhow... my first experience with sound, so I wanted to relate.

Peace...

Hey Runlola (inspired by the movie?), thanks for the welcome!

I've read DeGracia's DO_OBE, and I don't remember the part that reflects my experience... Did he describe the same thing?

Peace...

Hello all,

This is my first post at Astral Pulse, but I've been checking the forums for a minute now.

My friend introduced me to APing after he started to make some headway in his experiments with it...

I quickly started experimenting myself, and while I haven't achieved a conscious AP, I've gotten to where I can pretty easily get to the vibe stage.

Now to the topic at hand... Today, although I wasn't tired (I had slept for like 15 hours), I decided to try to AP, or at least get to the vibe stage.  I laid down, and after doing a relaxation excercise, quickly fell asleep... As happens all too often.

Anyhow, I had an very very strange dream.  I was more conscious than usual, and the dream followed more of a story than it usually does.  I had quite a few instances of dirty luck in this dream, and everything was bizarre as hell... I kept thinking, this has got to be a dream, but something would convince me otherwise.  I even tried to perform checks, such as looking at digital clocks, but they would either be too far away for me to see well, or obscured by something...

Needless to say, I didn't become lucid.  The dream was pretty stressful and paranoid throughout... I woke up with an unexplained huge gash on my head, I was late for work, my car was illegally parked and I was being harassed by security guards... All pretty bad...

I was lost, and was asking directions from a group of costumed party-goers... They were utterly unhelpful and sarcastic... I walking away when a beautiful (and topless) girl from the group came after me, and offered to help!  So... we are walking and as soon as she speaks, the dream cuts!

It fades to me laying in bed... eyes closed... but I am staring at what appears to be a Mosaic of puzzle pieces... Its not colored like a dream, I am aware I am in bed staring at the back of my eye-lids... But it looks like  a shifting Mosaic of almost what looked like puzzle pieces... or at least ill-defined shapes.  They were moving fast... Flickering...

I had the distinct thought, "is this what dreams are made of?  Is this the dream going on, with the curtains shut?  The dream going on with no vision?"  It reminded me of the background of the matrix... The cascading characters.  The shapes weren't cascading, they were flickering and shifting.  I had an impression that this was the dream... although I had woken up and could no longer see or take part in it.

I laid there for a minute to wait for vibes.  A couple days ago, a dream ended abruptly, and as soon as I realized I was laying in bed I was hit with the most intense vibes I've experienced yet.  I waited... nothing came.  Opened my eyes, and checked my clock, I had been sleeping for about 1 hour.

Anyhow... has anyone came to from a dream, and saw the same thing I saw?  It was the first time I had seen something like that, the shifting flickering shapes... Just curious if there is something to that, or if it is recognized amongst some dream researchers.

Thanks,
