So after not getting out for awhile, I finally made a bit of an effort and left the ol' shell behind for a little while.  It started from a dream I was having.  I was at this house with around 10 or 15 other people.  The house was your average, ordinary type of house, two stories, modern, and well looked after.  It was like a tour, and this group of people I was with had a tour guide, a female.  I do not remember what her name was, because it was about at this point that I went from just having a dream, to instantly being OBE.  There was no transition, just instantaneous OBE.  This was courtesy of the 'tour guide'.  I knew, and she was expecting me.  She gave me the kind of look that I used to get when I came into class late when I was in high school.  In fact, they were all waiting for me.

So, I was there, and continued to get a tour of this house.  I was pleased, and very happy because I hadn't been OBE for awhile, and was pretty excited.  However, not everybody else was.  In fact they seemed a bit unnerved, and hesitant.  After only a few minutes into this tour of the house, they're vibe was not in fact starting to rub off on me.  (Authors note: recalling this makes my eyes water)  So we had a very brief tour of the bottom floor, and to be honest, I wasn't really impressed.  Pretty ordinary, I didn't see what was so special.  It was about this time that I was thinking to myself "I'm gonna blow this joint, and get the heck outta here!"  I'm not wasting my precious OBE time on some boring tour of a home that looks like something I've already seen before.

The next thing I know the tour guide has the group stopped at the bottom of some very well crafted, but dark, precarious, intimidating, frightening stairs that led up to blackness.  I don't know what happen at this stage.  I don't know if 'the others' in the group had left to watch Lost, or if they went up before me, after me, I don't know, but they were no longer there.  Maybe they got scared, or thought to themselves "I'm not gonna waste my precious OBE time on this tour!"  So now at this point it was just me and the tour guide.  She was very serious, but had a very benevolent vibe to her.  I also felt that she is/was a huge mountain of vast knowledge and understanding.  She was also very matter of fact, and straight to the point.

The next thing she said I will never forget.  Thinking about it now makes me feel a little uneasy, and scared.  She asked me "Do you want to feel God, and do you want to feel the Devil?"  Me, being me reply, without hesitation "Yes."

The tour guide then proceeds to climb the daunting stairs leading into the black abyss.  The higher we go, the blacker it gets, until eventually we are surrounded in darkness.  I can no longer see the tour guide, or let alone my hand in front of my face.  What I can see however, is what seemed to be like a hallway.  On one side (my left) was a door slightly opened, oh maybe 3 inches just a smidgen less.  There was a very cool, icey blue, thick light beaming forth, seeping past the edge of the door.  I heard, and felt harmony, but intensity as well.  Power, a fierce power I might add, but the softness, and innocents of a baby's first smile.  Then slam!  It was over all too quick.  Next I turn around about 90 degrees to the right to face another door, cracked open about the same amount.  On this side though was something very, very differen't.  The red light spewed forth showering everything around me.  This red was like the red blood, the blood the flows through our body, and the feeling was like no other.  I felt as though my soul was being sucked from me, and it was just holding on by no more then a thread of silk.  As the crimson light grew I felt weak, frozen solid, and empty.  I began to feel emptier, and emptier, less, and less.  I was very scared.  I could see the tour guide watching me, she however seemed unaffected.  I tried to turn to my left a little to look away, but struggled.  At this point I know I had no other option, but to begin to pray, and to give myself entirely to God.  I was sure I was at the point of being crushed by the hands of the devil himself.  The terrifying sounds that were there began to fade away, but the red light surrounding us was still very real, and very intense.  As I prayed the blue light grew stronger, but it didn't feel like it could truly save me.

I then woke up.

I've made it a habit to myself, that if I have bad/negative/scary OBEs to immediately check my heart rate when I wake up.  While I do not know exactly what it is, I do know how slow it is when I am lying in bed/sleeping.  When I came out of this it was beating very rapidly.  Maybe twice as fast, or more.

I thank you for your time if you managed to the bottom of this.  You can take it for what it is, as will I.

Just wondering if anybody has, or believe they have been to the 'Library' where the Akashic Records are stored?

If you have can you please describe your experience, and can you recall what the "Library" looks like?

Thanks! 8-)

I voted "unsure" because I'm not an expert.   8-)
And oddly enough, my best results are during the week before I have to go to work.

Ditto. :-)

I am just about guaranteed to get out if I am very, very tired, but physically still awake.  For example if I have been at work all day long, then went to the beach, and ran home.  If I went to bed right away while still breathing heavily, and heart beating fast, I will then get the vibrations almost instantaneously from the moment my head strikes the pillow.  In fact, I can pretty much count on it.

Once you are experienced its a feeling that you get familiar with, and you tune your mind in to that. Now days, my mind almost tunes into it itself. This also gets easier with experience, the tuning in part.  To get to that stage though, speaking for myself, took many years, and several OBEs.  There is no Black or White answer to your question IMO.

To try to answer your question:  "Basically the point of this thread is, to all of you expierenced projectors, what do you concentrate on?  Do you keep a focus on your body, or far away?"

I don't concentrate on anything.  I let go.  I do not focus on anything near, or far.  I am just there.

If you rotate 10-11-6 around 180 degrees you get 9-11-01

Coincidence?

Oh, the conspiracy theorists are going to have a hay day with this one.

Hi Smooth.

I know where you are coming from.  I too have had several bad experiences.  On the other hand, I have had several very good experiences.

The last time I was out, I was chased.  It was a very frightening experience, one of my worst.  I was sure that I wasn't going to make it back to my physical body.  Also like you mentioned, sometimes there are others waiting for me to get out, and are there still waiting when I am out.  They have a very negative, evil presence.

I don't know what you can do to get rid of them, and how to guarantee that they won't be there when you get out.

My best advice is that if you don't want them there waiting for you, then don't go.

The reason I project consciously is so I can get out of my ego, it's as simple as that for me.

Sorry, I don't mean to derail your post, but I am curious as to what you mean by the above stated?
Thanks.

the voice of silence

Thank you for the video, this is exactly what I was looking for.  I am going to download the audio shortly.

Did it take several attempts to video an OBE?

Great site btw!

I think when you first start its a bit like being a child again, as everything is new, and very exciting.  Your free to do, and go wherever you want, pretty much at the speed of thought.  I for one (in real life) love to fly, travel and explore.  So I have done a lot of this when in the Astral world.  When I'm out I'm so happy to be able to fly, so immediately I take off into the skies.

However, as you have done it more, get more experienced, and like maturing, and turning into an adult.  I find that I search for knowledge, and understanding now.  To try to see the bigger picture, and trust me, its BIG. :-)  This is where I'm at now.  I still love to get out, and fly, like a child with a new toy, but the novelty of it has begun to wear off slightly, and now I'm searching, learning, and trying to understand.

Good luck on your journey.

I don't understand how the times are the same no matter where you are in the world?  Perhaps can you provide in UTC?

Probably some of the most convincing video of a UFO that I've come across.

Its not like giving somebody a map to John Does who lives on the other side of town.  "Getting there", is very difficult.    However, you will definitely know when you are "there".  It gets easier with experience, as does anything really.  I would recommend the WILD technique (do a search), as this works almost everytime for me, and from what I gather, a lot of other people.  Be patient, give it time, and do not get discouraged.

I'm always curious as to what I sound like or perhaps even look like when having an OBE, especially when its bad, and I am scared, and in a hurry to get out. :-o

Sometimes it is very hard to break out of the paralysis, and return to my physical self.  I would like to see how much, if any movement I may have.  I would also like to hear what kinda of dreadful noises I may be making.

Judging from what my Wife has said, it sounds very frightening.

I also find it amazing as to how much your heart rate can increase during a bad OBE.  I often compare how fast, or slow my heart is beating when I am relaxed before I fall asleep.  When I have a bad OBE, am scared, and have hard time getting back to myself, and then check it when I wake up, it is dramatically faster.  Similar to a brisk walk, or jog even.

That aside.  I am curious as to if anybody has any audio, or video of themselves, or anybody else while they are in transition, or having an OBE?  I would really like to hear, or see this.

Thanks.

Crazy.  I've had Exploding Head Syndrome several times, almost everytime in transition, although, now days it seems to be less, and less, or not as bad.

Before I knew what it was called, I used to always say, "It feels like your head is going to explode."  Thought they would of had a more technical term for this.  lol

I usually hear severe banging, slamming doors, and talking.  When I hear this, I know its time to giddyup!   8-)

I find that the wake up, and go back to sleep technique works really good.  It always has for me.  In fact the very first time I experienced the vibrations, and 'vibes' was when I was in high school, over 10 years ago now.  I stayed the night at a friends.  We had a late night, I only got about 2 hours of sleep.  My friend had to work early, so we both only got about 2 hours of sleep.  I ended up running/walking home, it was about 45 minute run/walk.  I got home, and was naturally tired since I was up all night.  Since I ran/walk my physical self was very much awake, but my mind was exhausted.  This put me into that state almost immediately.  There were several other times where I did the same thing staying up late, and running home, and getting the vibrations.  I recommend something like this.

However, now days, I can almost will myself into it.  Kinda like turning the channel on a TV.

My advice is to continue, and  basicaly just to be patient.

noooo when i woke up, my eyes were closed and among the blackness in huge white letters i saw 10:35, i know what ur talkin about tho, i see 11:11, 10:01, 555, 747, and 757

...and they're all palindromes.  I thought that I was the only one that this happens to.  This has been happening to me as long as I can remember.

Hello everybody.  I'm new to these boards.  Just a quick hello.  Looks like a great place to share my experiences, and hopefully to grow.

C you on the boards.

Hi.  To answer the original post.  Yes, I have been to the moon.  I have also been to Mars, just to satisfy my own curiosity.  I did not have any problem, as other have stated, leaving the Earth.  I have gone light years away from Earth.    Whizzed past several millions of planets, galaxies, and stars.  Galaxies that are a part of larger galaxies, that are a part of larger galaxies, so on, and so forth.  The Universe is a system of some sort, much like our bodies.  Everything works in unison with eachother.  One gargantuan cycle of events.
