What, specifically, has kept you from projecting? You said you were busy. Busy with what? Work? could be Work Distraction, or Work Disruption. Of course 'work' could refer to practicing your projection.
Just a little intuition. I have no idea, really.
Sorry if that didnt help.

Chant this mantra while in a lucid dream according to jonathan nassaw, to have an obe or 10 simultaneous dreams that possibly will be shared with people you know:

Nah during OBE's your not in the physical..... you won't see anyone, except if you imagine them or if they are in an OBE aswell. And then there might be things which acctually live there, but thats controversial.

I find it fairly easy to do with 1 caveat: you can remain focused on only one thought. Once out of your body, imagine your girlfriend -- not where she is staying in the physical. Picture her face and imagine her 'feel'. After what feels like a few seconds of doing this, I usually perceive the surroundings drop slightly from around me and begin whisking passed me. For some reason, I always feel myself as stationery and not moving. Your eyes can remain open or closed during this. If they stay open, do NOT pay any attention to the surroundings flying passed you. This will cause you to lose the connection with her and you will drop wherever it is that caught your attention -- this is the 'tricky part.' After what feels like about half a minute, the surroundings will slow down and you will find yourself somewhere else. Look around and she should be near you.

Hmm, I have been wondering something: Does this mean that people like quadrapeligics who are physically paralized all the time can easily exit their body without having to be in a trance?

Some people mistakenly believe that the "mind" must be awake and the body asleep in order to astral project. This is not true. If the physical body is asleep, relaxed, or dormant, this will indeed make projecting relatively easier, but it is quite possible to project while your physical body is active and in fact engaged in activities. This is because the consciousness of the physical body is able to continue without the focus of some of the energy usually associated with it (the spirit). However, when that spirit leaves on an adventure, the physical consciousness becomes somewhat diminished in consciousness and intelligence.

im sorry for the bad english i think this is the right forum for this.
i can't believe im good at something, it was so easy. i "woke up" this morning in a state somewhere between being awake and aseleep and i thought for some reason, i should try to get out of my body. so i startet rocking and then i felt the vibration and i was in the room flying , the roomk was dark and it was hard to see so i got sceard.
the first few seconds nothing happened but then i got back and i went back to dreaming. do you think this was for real. they say when your out there you can have a problem staying out there not getting back(not that it was a big problem but still it feelt different than before).
is the astral suppossed to look dark, the room was dark but not that dark.
i have had som other problems too, i got a necklace as a gift and i fell asleep with it on. had lots of bad dreams wearing it.
have happened before with another necklace. is it common? do you think i'ts left over energy or some kind of beeing?

I very gently psyche cashiers into unintentionally giving me all of my money back in change when I can barely afford to eat (nothing significant enough to get them into trouble). For me it makes the difference between starving and not starving. I am aware it isn't right.

For me, floating is something I have to do, like walking. If I don't focus on floating, I stand there as well. But when I do walk while out, it feels and more like walking on the moon -- very bouncy and light with very little gravity.
Its pretty common to reach the stage to project and then do it multiple times in one instance, like you described. And rolling out is usually how I exit as well.
As for the ladies, the fact that they were aware enough to understand what you meant, makes me think they were probably real entities and not dream characters, although there isn't enough info to make a good determination. Next time you see them, ask them their names and what they are doing there. Often you can find out information from them and then research it when back in the physical and confirm your experiences. For me, I can sometimes tell by the way someone looks while out. Dream characters have a different look and feel to them than real entities. But I'm not sure how to explain it.

i have schizophrenia and i have been having OBE's since i was a teenager. i don't know if it's related. the problem is, it just happens and i never force it. i don't know much about OBE's, but i do know when i wake up and i've had one. i remember while OBE-ing that i was walking down the street near my house and i opened up my eyes and thought, hold on, how can i be here when i'm actually asleep in my bed? i freaked out and tried to run home then i woke up and thought... WOAH. freaked me out the first time. but now i can fly so high in the sky...even though i'm not really good at flying, once i flew all the way up into the sky and there were planes up there and i thought hold on, this isn't a good idea to be flying this high up....so i made it back down safely.
also, another time i flew through my window and on to the roof and was just sitting up there resting. it was great! so now i love having OBE's, but i always wake up cold because i've been out of my body for so long during the night. anyway, what i'm saying is yes, you can have OBE's when you have schiz.
