Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Lots O' Spam
April 03, 2013, 11:47:32
It's very likely that there is a "company" selling "link packages" to webmasters. They pay the company to get their website backlinks. The website owners probably don't know that their links are being spammed. The "company" probably has this website marked as one of their routine placed to put links, which is why it keeps happening.

If I could have made it last longer, I would have. I don't think I'm quite to the point of being able to control that. It seems like if I think of anything other than what is surrounding me, I lose it. It was a lot of fun though. In one of the projections I just went around touching everything and that helped me stay with it. The whole thing probably lasted for an hour.

Has this happened to someone else?

This morning was pretty great. I just had at least 10 astral projections in a row. Each time I would lose awareness, come back to my bed, feel the vibrations again, and lift out again. I kept projecting to the same place each time and I would go from my bed to that place. Each time I came back to my body, I would do a quick recap, "Okay in astral projection #4 this happened... in #5 this happened..." Once I felt like I could remember what just happened, I would leave again for the next one. It didn't work though because now I don't remember a lot of it and I certainly can't separate the experiences like I was trying to in my head. I just thought that if I got up and wrote it down, I would break the cycle. I wrote down about 7-8 different things that I remember (the main things). Looking at my hands and touching different textures and objects helped me. Each projection was a few minutes.

I once tried to pull my husband out. I grabbed his "arm" and yanked him up in front of me. Then I reached my hands out in front of me and there was a bunch of static... Like I was being shocked, but it didn't hurt. I didn't see anything in front of me though. So I just went on about my business. The next day I asked him if he remembered any "strange dreams". He said no. I'm not sure if what I did was successful. I obviously felt some kind of energy in front of me that wasn't like regular air.

When I wake up with vibrations and "wind" sounds in my ears, I always ask myself do I let it happen or not? Me asking myself these questions have never interrupted it or made it stop. Even sometimes I've decided I don't want to and it still happens. I don't know why these thoughts would be interrupting you. Now that you know you can have thoughts and still project, maybe it will help you to be able to let it happen next time.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Hi!
March 22, 2013, 19:01:40
There's nothing wrong. You are doing fine. You just have to keep doing it. Have you tried setting alarms at night? I usually wake up naturally throughout the night and this is how most of my projections happen. Try waking up at 3 am and going back to sleep or something like that.

My husband has made quite a few appearances in my out of body experiences. Every time I ask him if he had a "dream" about this or that, he says no. So idk. If you have an experience and someone else is in it, either they are really there but it was more of a dream to them and they forgot it immediately or they weren't really there and it was your memory of them that made a copy of them or it was them but in an alternate reality that you created. I don't even know what I'm saying. But all I know is that my husband never remembers these things. It may be easier if you approach it the way I usually do and say hey, I had a dream and you were in it and this happened.... They won't be as freaked out then.

I see that some people didn't understood what i meant ... I'm sorry if i offended someone , that wasn't my intention . I have read whole "Ultimate_Journey-Robert A Monroe" book yesterday , tried for 2 hours straight today - nothing , after i got up from bed  my body parts was numb . The hardest part seems to be concentrating because after some time i cought myself 'drifting' in dream . Also after first hour my throat dries up and i automatically swallow plus i was hungry . I'm trying it in day light and that seems to be a problem because when i close my eyes it's not dark but almost white , maybe i will try to put solarium shades that you can't see anything through them , but then if i projected would i be able to see ?  . I'm dedicated to experience this myself , i will give it a go for a month or so . I will try today again .

If you really want to do this, don't give it a time frame like it has to happen in one month or you give up. Some people take a while to learn. I'm not sure why, but it's different for everyone. Your body being numb is a good sign. Swallowing isn't a big deal unless you let it be a big deal. Try to get into a state where your mind is awake but your body is asleep. I've heard theta binaural beats can help beginners.

I'm not sure what kind of reaction you are trying to get out of any of us with your insults to our group. Do you want us to defend ourselves? Bend over backwards to try and prove it to you? That's not our job. If you don't believe us, that's your problem. Not ours.

I projected while laying on my side the other day.

I have an idea. Wear a shirt about lucid dreaming (there are actually shirts and you can find them online) and I think people with a similar interest would just come up to you and want to talk about it. You won't have to bring it up to anyone who will think you're weird.
#13
Maybe it's different for other people, but that's what happened today. I think it's because I can easily get into the state of mind required to OBE that I don't need to sit still the entire time. It would be impossible for me to just lay there and not itch my nose or something. I do know that if I open my physical eyes, I can't OBE.
#14
To me, it doesn't really affect it. I just got through having an OBE and before doing it, I kept swallowing but I continued to feel numbness throughout my body anyway. I even moved my leg and head, opened my eyes. I rolled over and ended up laying on my side and projected from there. I've read some people say you can't project from laying on your side. I do it half the time that way. I don't know if I'm different, but I doubt it.

What helps me have experiences more often is trying to keep my body free of toxins and keeping a regular meditation practice. I don't always do this and I often have experiences despite that, but if it's been 4 days I'll start to evaluate my habits.

I love crystals. I have a mix of natural ones that I've found and some that I've bought. Sometimes I will put them under my pillow when I sleep and sometimes I will wear them as a necklace when I sleep. When I meditate sometimes I put them on my body. I can feel their energy when I do that. Most of the time I don't use them, but when I do, I've noticed more experiences.

There have supposedly been studies where participants were able to do this. In my own experience, things in RTZ are really really weird and that's normal. I think the reason is because your thoughts and emotions become reality, so if you don't have much control over yourself and your thoughts, you could really distort the RTZ. If you want to prove it, you can only prove it to yourself by doing it.

I'm not sure if there is any formal proof. I think it could be proven scientifically, but I don't think scientists want it to be proven so they don't give much focus to it as far as I know. The proof lives on in the minds of those who have experienced it. I know there is some talk about the "card trick" on this forum, but most people can't get it to work. I, myself, have tried to memorize the license plates of my neighbors while OBE and never could get it to work. It's because of all the distortions we experience.

I know Szaxx wrote a pretty cool story on a thread that I posted in which he had some proof. The title of that thread is "I'm new. OBE to Walmart? Can you give opinions?" His post is the 12th one down on the 1st page.

Ok, glad you understand now. To learn more about astral warriors Google search "Abode of the Lion" to find out more.  :-)

I just googled it. Maybe you'll find the group you are looking for soon.

This is for help not to do senseless battle. There are some astral warriors out there that do exist and which sole purpose is to spiritually help others.

Sorry. I think my misinterpretation of your post should be understandable though. Especially since two of us misinterpreted what you meant by "astral warrior". No need for getting upset.

I guess if someone goes out into the astral with the thought in their head that they want to battle against some kind of force, their thoughts will manifest a force to battle with but I see it as being a huge waste of time. You're probably just going to battle yourself.

Oh, I had no idea how old you were. I was referring to the comments about how when they were young there were little to no differences from the physical. I was just thinking out loud, hehe

Okay lol. I see. There were no real differences for me either when I was that young, but at the same time I didn't "come out" that much to see.

Give it ten years without fear and see what you are capable of knowing.

I don't really have much fear to be honest. I realize that nothing can really harm me. So far, I've had a few "entities" try to scare me, but it didn't work for them. I say "entities" because they were probably manifestations of my own thoughts. The last time I had an OBE and a dark hooded "something" was walking into my room but I didn't let it bother me and it disappeared.

I will say this though, I'm still afraid of heights in the astral. Not as afraid, but still some fear. When you fly really fast, do you get the same feeling as me? It feels like huge butterflies in your stomach. That is what I don't like. When I float around, there's no problem. It's only when I go up high too fast.
#23
I'm also in my mid 20s. How old did you think I was? lol. I started having experiences when I was a kid though. Too bad I didn't know what it was then. Why don't they teach this stuff in school?
#24
I've gotten that same feeling while meditating. Like the feeling of falling forward. For me it feels like my consciousness is being pulled to another part of the room and it can feel like falling.
#25
I floated out of my body and everything was black. I turned around and there were 4 beings. One was closer to me, another one was further back but very visible and two more were even further back and I couldn't make them out. The one closest to me told me that they are always with me and I am never alone. I didn't really have time to say or do anything. I was catapulted backwards and the feeling of going so fast (like on a rollercoaster) was too much for me that I ended up going back to my body. I guess those were my guides.
