This afternoon I took a nap... I was pretty tired and fell asleep almost instantly. I had a dream about being at work and my boss and I were discussing some pictures I have on my desk, I noticed that I had never seen one of them before and then I realized that I was dreaming. After a few secconds I felt like I was starting to wake up like I usualy do when I have ludid dreams, but this time I tried to stay asleep and I relaxed my body. All of a sudden I felt the "vibrations" stronger that I ever have before and my ears were ringing. I blocked out everything else and focused on the sound. I heard a noise like when you pop your ears and I saw a flash of light. I then felt very strange... Kind of like that feeling you get at the dentist office when you are getting a filling, but everywhere. I tried to roll to the side but I wasn't able to move much. After a minute or so of this I woke up and I was completely wide awake...

I feel like this is the closest I have ever come to actualy getting out of my body. Any comments?

Never tried Bismuth, but I used to meditate with a candal in the middle of a big piece of Amythest geode (before my now Exgirlfirend stole it) its supposed to open your mind to higher states of consciousness, Personally I think that using crystals is more psycological than anything else... in other words, if you think it will help you, then it will.

Well, I personally like Neuro Programmer and Mind stereo from Transparent Corp... I also have a session called Deep Mind VI that I downloaded from Transparent Corps website. I have also felt some pretty heavy vibrations with the Schuman Resonance and have had some interesting mental phenomenon with pretty much any Gamma session.

Also as far as your alarm clocks go, try using the Windows task schedule editor, for the program you want to run just pick an MP3 file or MIDI or something and set a start time and end time for it, you can turn Windows Media player into a very nice Alarm clock that works...99.5% of the time.

I've had that same experience, It feels like your arm moves closer to your body or farther away, but it hasn't moved at all, Or sometimes I feel like my fingers are touching each other, but they are really spread out... (I feel like that all the time) stuff like that. Ignore the feelings and concentrate, your body is not really moving.

The only time I aspire to be a Cultist is when I am playing Munchkin Cthulhu! my favorite cultist card is the crazy girl in the red robe holding the book labled "Bad Stuff" In real life though, I don't have enough time to devote to a cult. Or else I might start one... a Munchkin cult.

ALL HAIL THE GREAT CTHULHU!

Hello,

I'm a Computer programmer from Nevada with a short attention span. I found this site because I am interested in astral projections. Are alot of projectors computer programmers? I have two books on the subject and they were both written by software engineers... Maby I am being psychically drawn to other coders, or it could just be a fantastic coincidence. I have never had an Out-of-body experience, but I am working on it.

I am a very fun loving guy, people think I am weird, I work in a Call center all day and I program all night until I cant keep my eyes open anymore. I am drawn to astral projection because I don't like the Idea that I spend 8 hours a day (or 1\3rd of my life) unconscious (asleep) and it seems like a good way to escape the confines of my normally dull and routine life and have an adventure.

Oh and even though I am from Las Vegas, I am not a compulsive gambler and I don't work in a casino. (for some reason, people from out of state ask me that...)
